It is reported by the families Sajous and Mongonese that unknown parties forcibly entered the Mongonese home in Morne Calvert in an attempt to kidnap a family member. The ensuing fray resulted in Mr. Mongonese being shot (not fatally) and Mrs. Mongonese being kidnapped from her residence.
The neighboring home of Mr. Gary Sajous and son, took notice of the violence and went from the safety of their residence to assist the plight of the Mongonese family. It is yet unclear as to the events that transpired however reportedly Mr. Sajous (fils) was found by his father (Mr. Gary Sajous) mortally shot. Mr. Sajous (deceased) is survived by his wife Mrs. Sajous, nee Solages their two daughters. A report is hopefully pending by the Police authorities at this writing.
The incidence of “kidnapping” seems to again be escalating. We should be mindful that every such incident may be measured in the ten year latent impact by the reduction of foreign investment over time, perhaps as much as ten billion dollars in applied extensions of the expansionary per dollar effect.
Morally, these hideous acts of barbarism are akin to those of the bandits of Darfur and the Sudan.
Until Haitians take hold of their plight, demand security up to the point of almost insurrection, the powers that be seem to rest upon the hope that “someone else will do the dirty job for them”.
If Zenglendos exist in the neighborhood, then deal with them and their families who encroach upon the well being, sanity, and economic health of any part of the country.
If Haitians cannot sleep at night for fear of the criminals carrying out their trade of rape, theft, kidnapping and murder, then get together with all friends and neighbors and stand before the Gare de Police and demand security.
The U.S.A. was no sweet place in the beginning; it took women and men decades to enforce civil order and protection of the public at large.
Criminals must learn and understand that their acts upon the people will be atoned for.
Otherwise: how would Haitians like to have another “occupation?”
Whereby their every move throughout the day might come under the vigilance of foreign troops, this time with an open mandate, and a very liberal version of law that would enable these enforcers to “shoot first and ask questions later”?
Is this what Haitians want?
Well it is coming unless Haitians take their laws and enforce them in vast numbers that will create the respect of the world.
Earthquake or not “Earthquake”, order must prevail and citizens must be safe in the homes and beds.
And where is the “new” high-security penitentiary?
The choice is up to self-respecting and law-abiding Haitian. Demand that the State takes its responsibility!!! If the State fails as it has in the past, then visit with the Chief of Police National and VOLUNTEER for service! Otherwise, apathy is just another page in the Haitian Book of Problems.
This piece was forwarded by one of our readers who is suffering the PAX PREVAL and PREVAL STABILITY so dear to Ban Kee Moon, Secretary General of the UN, his MINUSTAH people, and the Bill/Hillary Clinton team.
Preval controls – totally – the gangs of Haiti. One call from the President and we can have “12 kidnaps before lunch”…or other destabilizing problems… and these people are too stupid, or personally greedy, to recognize the truth.
The UN wants to extend its mandate – and this is pure and simply an economic, business proposition. Haiti is worth billions of dollars to the United Nations machine.
The Clintons want to retain Preval, or his clone, in power so they, and their Haitian business associates, like the Vorbes, Mevs…can do business in a big way. The Clintons are after cash and a Nobel Prize.
The Haitian people want nothing more than survival, but all ears are closed to this basic need.
Other agendas are in play.
