President Jovenel Moise, and Martine, the First Lady were buried in the massive crowd to initiate the 2018 celebrations. Their group moved along, with the flow, until they reached a point near their stand. At this point they moved off to take their official position.

The first massive float was that of Sweet Micky who stopped before the President, and First Lady, greeting them with the promise of no bad language in front of their position.

Everyone laughed.

Then Michel’s float moved of with a renewed beat and some of his famous phraseology echoed throughout Champs de Mars.  We heard the odd “Git Mama,” and “Ti Lili” so he is alive and well.

The massive crowd around the area loved it.

Must be over 500,000 in the palace area.
