Simplicity itself, a simplicity Martelly promised to stop!

$3,500,000.00 was distributed among the senators and deputies to obtain the rejection of Daniel Rouzier. One deputy stood up, after the voted and turned through 360 degrees and stated this before walking, in disgust, from the chamber.

The lesson was simple. Preval/INITE control the country and Martelly is impotent.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

Unfortunately, by appointing Bellerive as Prime Minister Martelly accepted this, rather than fight for the people who trust him to act on their behalf, the 80% who voted for him.

And now we have indications that Martelly has abandoned his promise to fight corruption and join the forces of greed. The Bellerive negotiated contract for $379,000,000 now stands as a potential mirror of the $198,000,000 Petro Caribe scandal. This 8 page contract remains a secret from the people it represents, the people who really own the money involved – THE HAITIAN PEOPLE.

Haiti deserves more than a Continuity of Corruption.

Unfortunately, those who could serve the Nation are not in a position to do so.

Martelly could have called upon his close family friend, the many who travelled the country to defeat Manigat – Gervais Charles.

Somehow people, within Martelly’s inner circle, worked to discredit Gervais.

When you accept the opinions of people like the Mayard-Pauls – to discredit anyone, other than themselves, the Nation is in real trouble.
