Port-au-Prince, jeudi 1er février 2018 ((rezonodwes.com))– Un après-midi et une nuit entière n`ont pas suffit pour faire avancer le dossier Petro-Caribe.

Après des heures de débats (houleux ) portant beaucoup plus sur la forme que sur le fond, les sénateurs ne sont pas parvenus à se prononcer sur le rapport de la commission anti-corruption sur l`utilisation des fonds de Petro-Caribe.

Excédés par l`attitude du Bureau et de nombreux sénateurs qui ne leur ont pas laissé la possibilité de montrer au public les vidéos des séances d`interrogatoire des personnalités indexées et de fournir des explications sur les points d`ombre de leur travail, les membres de la commission, Nénel Cassy (Nippes), Antonio Cheramy (Ouest) et Evalliere Beauplan (Nord`Ouest) ont claqué la porte et laissé la salle de séance.

Constituée par les sénateurs Tet Kale et alliés,sous la houlette de Kedlaire Augustin (Nord`Ouest), la majorité présidentielle a proposé de transférer le rapport à la Cour Supérieur des Comptes et du Contentieux Administratif (CSCCA) à travers une résolution qui a été condamnée par d`autres collègues comme Jean Marie Junior Salomon (Sud) et Jean Renel Sénatus (Ouest).

Ce dernier avait soulevé un point de droit en exigeant au président du sénat de mettre fin aux débats, conformément aux règlements intérieurs du Grand Corps, puisque le dossier de la dilapidation des fonds de Petro-Caribe a été saisi par la justice haïtienne.

Finalement, le quorum a été infirmé au petit matin et le président Joseph Lambert a dû annoncer le report de la séance. On ne sait pas encore si, mardi prochain, les commissaires vont revenir sur la table ou si la séance portera uniquement sur la résolution proposée par Kedlaire Augustin.

Hours of confusion and obfuscation following a trail that leads nowhere. There is a legendary animal, in Irish history, much like a snake. It started to swallow its tail and continued until it disappeared.

So it is with this Senate debate.
The question seems to have become injected into the legal system which creates a question of jurisdiction.

The entire PETROCARIBE dossier may finally eat itself and disappear into thin air. Since it is an ill-disguised weapon, created by Privert almost 2 years ago, to act as a time-bomb against those who followed, the report is full of false assumptions, claims and flawed material.

It would be thrown out of court in the States of Canada, with coordinated legal systems. We are in Haiti where there is not real coordination that cannot be derailed with money or influence.

The process has been pursued as a weapon against Jovenel Moise and a number   including Laurent Lamothe, Wilson Laleau and a band of other Patriots.

When the debate touched upon the POTENTATES OF POWER – Sogenor, E-Power and Haytrac their whore, led by Senators Beauplan and Don Kato abandoned the meeting.

Such is the Senate, an organization that, like the Irish figure, should start to swallow its tail until Haitian society sees it disappear.
Perhaps we will have to accelerate this process with a rewrite of the Constitution without the Senate included.

Even as I type this, our Senators are off negotiating bigger bribes to control their important votes. These criminals are sitting in judgment upon innocent Haitians who they will sell for a price.

MORE IMPORTANTLY, THESE ELECTED CRIMINALS WILL SELL THE NATION FOR A PRICE!!
