This program is in such bad taste and so flawed that someone from Martelly’s entourage should have pulled the plug on it – instantly.
It is an insult to Haiti, Haitians and Martelly for the MINUSTAH leader to be allowed broadcast time on the National TV to spread this blatantly biased and false propaganda.
Mulet makes the earthquake seem like a simple situation that was handled quickly and professionally, avoiding the fact that MINUSTAH was effectively in neutral for almost 8 days after the quake and Preval disappeared, drunk for some days.
Watching this footage one would believe that there was no disaster at all, just a small burble in normal life that was quickly dealt with. New houses popped up miraculously and people politely stood in line, all nicely washed and clean, waiting to receive neatly prepared food on plates and bottles of water.
Most of the footage in the special was shot some weeks after the quake since I can see myself in the background of several shots and I can check the exact dates and times I was at these locations.
The cholera epidemic is covered like a small outbreak in some Beverly Hills school.
The elections were all super and Mulet says Preval did an outstanding job.
Over 300,000 people died, hundreds of thousands injured, millions homeless and Mulet reduced the situation to nothing.
MINUSTAH has introduced a cholera epidemic that will sicken 1,000,000 before the end of this year and he makes this sound like nothing.
The elections were one large and serious criminal act, controlled personally by Preval as he continued his efforts to steal the ballot.
Both Mulet and Preval should be in jail.
It is disgusting.
Mulet is a practitioner of Hitler’s concept of THE BIG LIE. Tell it often enough and it becomes the truth.
I too watched this piece of fiction.
MINUSTAH was actually missing from action for more than a week, after the January 12, 2010 disaster. I can also recal their public relatiuons person and Mulet going on radio and TV to explain why they did not go into immediate action.
It was because they did not want to interfer in Haitian affairs!!! WOW!!
And now they give a version in which they were there from second one.
The material was very pro-Preval when he too was absent from action for days – DRUNK!!
And the cholera was treated like it was a small outbreak of athlete’s foot.
Mulet completely whitewashed the electoral crime and praised Preval for running good votes.
Martelly should have picked up the phone and shut the TV station down.
If Martelly doesn’t realize he is president he will get eaten alive.
His inauguration should be an indication to him.
Preval did him damages.

Mulet has been a Preval insider since his return, after the
earthquake. He was also a Preval insider, since his arrivival in 2006,
immediately after MINUSTAH fixed the elections raising Prevals 23% to
51% to avoind a run-off.
Although he seems to be from Nicaragua, Mulet is also an American citizen.
There have been internal, and external pressures to get rid of him and
this was a convenient moment in time.
There is a move to see the South Americans play a greater role. This
is not necessarily a good thing.
