MINUSTAH IS DEAD – BILLIONS $$ WASTED: MINUSTAH DIDN’T EVEN PROTECT THE STATUS QUO THEY FOUND UPON ARRIVAL

October 20, 2017

Aristide stole the 2000 Presidential elections and managed to hold on until February, 2004.

Immediately after Aristide’s voluntary departure February, 2004 – for American- funded exile, and the start of his expensive propaganda campaign promoting the concept of a “Geopolitical Kidnap,” the population asked  ex-FAdH members to put their uniforms on and give the Nation  security.

The Aristide-dominated PNH had gone into hiding!

The Nation’s population was against the illegal 1994 disbanding of their FAdH . Haitians  had always supported this important factor in our country’s governance. In fact, the survival of Haiti was predicated upon the continued, retrained, restructured FAdH to counteract the predicted grab for dictatorial power – by Aristide – when he returned to Haiti in October, 1994. This was guaranteed by the Governor’s  Island Accord, a document immediately trashed by Aristide upon his forced return to Haiti.

As an interesting side note, Aristide refused to sign the same copy of the Governor’s Island Accord signed by Cedras. He was afraid of some Voodoo influence. On the copy Aristide signed, Cedras’ signature slot was signed by Larry Pezzulo.

AMERICA’S CONCEPT OF DEMOCRACY

He then returned to Haiti and obtained the American General’s (the one overseen the American occupation with 23,000 troops) acceptance of Aristide’s  unconstitutional creation of a new General Officer.

Lieutenant Colonel Poisson, the Fire Chief was made Brigadier General and then named COMCHIEF by Aristide. He was then ordered to disband the FAdH.

According to the Governor’s Island Accord, the COMCHIEF was to be selected from the existing General Officers which should have seen Major General Duperval of Brigadier General Max Mayard as COMCHIEF.

Actually, should have been allowed to stay in Haiti in 1994 but was forced out by the Americans,  who saw him as “opposition” to the Aristide team. Somehow I thought that Democracy depended upon Opposition, but the Americans preferred an Aristide dictatorship – which was the result of their illegal approach, which showed America’s word was worth less than Aristide’s and his has been demonstrated to be valued at less than zero!

And so a stability, that would have been guaranteed by the continued existence of the FAdH, was derailed and Haiti has paid the price of America’s stupidity ever since.

Unfortunately, in 1994 there was not one FAdH officer to stand up against the illegal, unconstitutional disbandment of the FAdH, an event that would see Haiti controlled by Aristide/Preval for a generation.

At the time of greatest need, FAdH leadership was led to the slaughter like a bunch of sheep.

When Aristide finally wore out his welcom, in February, 2004, MINUSTAH arrived and forcibly disarmed the revived FAdH units. Some lives were lost.

The original agreement saw MINUSTAH replace the American/French units that arrived after Aristide’s flight –  patrolling with empty weapons – a rather bizarre situation which rapidly deteriorated to see heavily armed UN units attacking Cite Soleir, and other locations, with heavy machine guns and light canons.

I can remember one day, during the Latortue government, in which over 20,000 rounds were fired in Cite Soleir. As one who has survived the Viet Nam war, I have never heard such a one-sided firefight. It could be heard as far as Petionville, when  MINUSTAH soldiers fired heavy guns, from their armoured cars, into residential areas without even targeting anything.

If it is Black shoot it could be the philosophy!

They just shut their eyes and sprayed homes, killing women and small children, who had nowhere to go. Hiding behind cinder block walls is zero protection against a .50 caliber machine gun, or even an assault rifle.

PEACEKEEPERS IN ACTION

Gang members simply left the area until MINUSTAH went home for dinner.

MINUSTAH gave us cholera when the Nepalese battalion dumped raw shit into the Artibonite. Of course, the UN refused to accept responsibility. The death toll from cholera was rapidly diminished by saying Haitians were dying from “acute diarrhea .”

Helped reduce the embarrassing episode, but helped bookkeeping. An the death toll, from cholera, has declined over time. Some 30,000 or more, have lost their lives.

At one stage the official count was around 18,000.

Now it is 9,000.

Soon cholera will never have happened.

IMG_256

But then, with each wet period water will be contaminated and people will continue to die from “severe diarrhea.”

IMG_256

And then MINUSTAH raped our children, but denied this until recently. The entire Sri Lankin unit  of 103 men was sent home for running brothels with underage kids. Johny Jean, from Port Salut, was raped by 5 Uruguayan sailors, a crime that was denied, until horrific videos of the act were made public.

A team of American lawyers, Headed by Ed Marger and Congressman Bob Barr,  took the case – at no charge – forcing a settlement guaranteed by Uruguay’s President. His word was equal to that of Aristide – Zero.

Of  course, there must be some positive factors to  MINUSTAH’s stay.

The Toyota dealer managed to sell a few thousand vehicles.

IMG_256

Restaurants had booming times, as did beach resorts when MINUSTA tourists enjoyed their hospitality.

And then there was the terrible earthquake on January, 2010 when something over 300,000 Haitians lost their lives, hundreds of thousands injured and our Nation in desperate need.

MINUSTAH disappeared from sight, as did President Preval, for a period of time as MINUSTAH retreated behind their walled enclosures at a time when their units could have done much to help. Preval disappeared into a bottle.

At Titanyen, near Mission of Hope, on the St. Marc Road, some badly injured Haitians sought assistance from a MINUSTAH unit there, with medical facilities. The MINUSTAH soldiers machine-gunned the Haitians seeking assistance.

IMG_256

Having MINUSTAH here should have seen their manpower used for positive result. They could have used their millions of manpower hours to build roads, hospitals, schools…..  Instead, the non-French/Creole speaking tourists took from the society, creating a greater negative situation.

IMG_256

Instead of creating a secure situation, prior to their departure, MINUSTAH took a reasonably stable situation and left chaos.

The United Nations works hard, with press releases, to create FAKE NEWS to reflect  something other than the truth. They would like everyone to believe the billions spend left a positive result.

Not true.

With America’s duplicity, and MINUSTAH’s incompetence, Haitians are much worse off than they would have been, left alone to solve their own problems.

Our American brothers should have left us with the 300 US Marines who originally arrived after Aristide’s February, 2004 departure.

Things would be different now.

We wouldn’t have an uncontrolled Aristide with us, when he was effectively “evicted” from South after Mbeki lost out to  Zuma . (No  one else would accept Aristide.)

ON  A SCALE OF 1 TO 10  MINUSTAH RATES A ZERO!

MINUSTAH  OVERSAW THE DETERIORATION OF GOOD  SECURITY TO CHAOS OVERSEEN BY AN ARISTIDE DOMINATED PNH.

AND NOW THEY CLAIM SECURITY HAS BEEN RETURNED TO HAITI – ANOTHER SAD LIE PROMOTED BY WIDELY CIRCULATED ARICLES TO THIS EFFECT.

PEACEKEEPING OPERATIONS ARE MONEY-MAKERS FOR THE NATIONS CONTRIBUTION SOLDIERS.

HAITI SHOULD TRAIN A TEAM FOR PEACEKEEPING PROJECTS AND GET THEIR PLACE AT THE MONEY-MACHINE.

OTHERWISE OUR HISTORY WITH THE UN WILL ADD UP TO ONE BIG ZERO.
