Me Hercules outraged by the approach of the President of CSPJ

Me Carlos Hercules, the President of the Bars Federation of Haiti (FBH), said he was scandalized by the correspondence sent to the Head of State by Me Anel Alexis Joseph, President of the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ)

Recall that in a letter dated February 5, 2013, Me Anel Alexis Joseph, had sought the assistance of the Head of State by asking him to decide in the case of Me Néhémy Joseph, reminding the President that Articles 136 and 138 of the Constitution, require him to ensure the proper functioning of public institutions and to ensure the independence of the country.

To the President of the FBH, this correspondence confirms that the CSPJ is “a puppet in the hands of the Executive Branch,” recalling that in the name of the principle of the separation and the independence of the 3 Powers [Executive, Legislative and justice], the Chief of the Executive, has no right to interfere in the internal affairs of another power. He suggests strongly to Me Anel Alexis Joseph to assume his responsibilities and to show leadership denouncing the attitude of “servile” of the President of CSPJ.
