LET US HOPE THAT THEY ARE JUST RUMORS BUT A NUMBER OF SOURCES SUGGEST A MICHEL BRUNACHE, LEON CHARLES, JOSEPH LUC EUCHER MOVE AGAINST PRIME MINISTER LAMOTHE POSSIBLY FOCUSED FOR MOMENT EVERYONE IS AT THE CHAVEZ FUNERAL.

March 6, 2013

One would assume that Leon Charles, recently fired from his position with the Government of Haiti, would have enough on his plate! His illegal efforts to break up CICC, with another associate, Audain, and the alleged disappearance of almost $2,000,000 US should keep his mind  focused…. but no…

Now, recently bumped from the Primature, Michel Brunache, and Leon Charles, along with Joseph Luc Eucher  are rumored to have plans against our Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe.

When can Haitians get it through their heads that the International Community is hoping we can get away from the Banana Republic concept of changing government more often than socks are changed?

The International Community has some hopes, for Haiti’s future, based upon the efforts of the Martelly/Lamothe team to overcome many imbedded symptomatic problems in our society.

The recent Lamothe assault on corruption has stirred up a hornets’ nest.

If you have a conflict of opinions, wait and take it to a public vote.

No one is going to accept more coup or destabilization  plots in Haiti, after spending billions in an effort to salvage the place.  Each of those, contemplating an unwise action, must contemplate losing visas for any real country. They will be forced to remain in Haiti and face the consequences of any ill-conceived action.

If Haiti is to be taken seriously, the Martelly/Lamothe must finish its term, handing over to the next administration.

********

P.S Unless you have forgotten,  remember  in late August, 1998,when    a judicial police director Pierre Fortin Jean Denis,   resigned   because he felt that Police Inspector General Joseph Luc Eucher was trying to block investigation of the disappearance of     450 kilo drug cache at Tabarre.  Seems as though 5 police inspectors turned up to carry the cocaine away. These kilos were part of a DEA sting and were “marked for identity.”  They later turned up for sale by Aristide associates.. Luc Eucher belonged to Aristide. Time for the broom to sweep this scum from the game.

Also- Michel Brunache made a questionable fortune under his father-in-law President Boniface Alexandre.

And, Leon Charles is under suspicion at the moment.

Three nice guys who could be targets  under Lamothe’s corruption campaign..

Perhaps they will recite the old Creole proverb to the effect: “This isn’t stealing. It’s a way of making a living”

  1. Definitely there’s something going on with you!

  2. Actually there was a plan to kill Martelly and Lamothe at the Cap Haitian carnival and these three guys were supposed to be involved. Somehow the plan was derailed.

Time for Haitians to stop this sort of stupidity and get in step with the Democratic concept of having a President and Prime Minister finish their term.

All three of these people had/have strong ties to Jean-Bertrand Aristide who is presently trying to destabilize the Martelly/Lamothe government.

Time to arrest Aristide and Preval for their past crimes, to prevent new ones.

  3. BANM YON CHANS NON NEG!
Last week you had an article about ME running from my country Haiti after steeling 1.5 Million us $ to hide myself and my family in your great country!
Now you’re talking about the same guy trying to overthrow a government in Haiti? Come on guys!
At least get your facts straight!
I’m actually in the us at the following number : 202-294-#### (redacted for user’s privacy). You can send that number to the FBI and you will be able to claim that reward you said they have on me.
YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAN THAT
    Leon Charles

    1. I think you might try a little practice on the article’s structure. I
believe it mentions rumors, and these rumors are there. Whether or not
they are true, remains to be seen.

Rumors are rumors, as you well know. Haiti is full of them, like the
one in which you claim to work, or have worked as a paid member of the
CIA. Please clarify that one with details.

We did not say anything about you being involved with a coup attempt.
Perhaps that is the opinion of one of our readers.

It’s a funny thing, but people in the Primature say that you were
      terminated some weeks ago.

I will check again tomorrow morning, or, perhaps this evening, when a
member of the staff calls me.

I was also told, by a member of the American embassy’s staff that they
were looking for you, in the States. I will pass your information
      along, in the morning.

Write a letter and we will post it.

If you feel we have done something wrong you can always sue.
