LAURENT LAMOTHE HOLDS PRESS CONFERENCEWITH STANDING-ROOM ONLY CROWD

May 26, 2015

Presidential candidate Laurent Lamothe held a press conference  at 11 A.M. today, at The Plaza Hotel. He should have reserved a larger room as a standing-room only crowd filled all of the space and spilled out into surrounding corridors.

Something like 400 crowded the room, while many others listened outside.

Lamothe presented a balanced, detailed  outline of his term as Prime Minister and pointed out numerous errors contained in information, emanating   from the Court of Superior Accounts.

The candidate suggested the Court correct its dossiers.

Upon departing The Plaza, Lamothe travelled to meet with Haiti’s remaining parliamentarians.

He then made appearances on local media outlets, debating and answering questions involved with his time as Prime Minister, the election and his bid for the Presidency.

On a score of 1 to 10 we see:

Lamothe -10

  1. We arrived at The Plaza and asked the people at the front desk, where the press conference was to be held.

They said they knew nothing – and it was visible on their bulletin board.

Then the power went off – for a few minutes, in the middle of the conference, leaving us in darkness.

Must have been on purpose since The Plaza has an automatic cut-in generator for such problems.
