It is one of the insanities of Haitian Democracy that a couple of dozen criminals – many depending upon their Parliamentary Immunity to avoid arrest – can have substantive control of the Nation.

This is called the Senate!

If they were honest, they would investigate them selves, then pour gas over their collective heads, and light a match. They are the creme-de-la-creme of Haiti’s criminal elite, regularly holding the Nation to ransom in order to obtain a quorum for a vote. The quorum could cost a couple of million to attain.

Now, basically under the control of Aristide/ Lavalas we have a situation in which a Lavalas controlled commission investigated PETROCARIBE! Not any surprise when they find the opposition guilty while ignoring themselves, or other Lavalas people.

No mention of Aristide, Preval. Jude Celestin or the $198,000,000 Preval, Celestin, Bellerive stole  and Martelly promised to investigate when elected President.

Their simple goals are the blocking of Discharges to people like Laurent Lamothe since the refusal to grant discharges removes real competitors from the forthcoming electoral process.

We have Senator Latortue visiting Taiwan in what might be seen as the first step  of a serious run for the Presidency. He was almost a candidate, supported by the Americans, a few years ago, and has now moved to gain control in the Artibonite/St Marc districts.

With President Moise’s cabinet a fragmented collection of people with other loyalties, and a PNH headed by a pure Lavalas Chief, the 4 Lavalas Senators, Beauplan, Cassy, Pierre and Don Kato with Youri Latortue in the mix,  makes for a dangerously volatile situation.

One only needs to keep dropping matches into the barrel of gasoline to finally initiate an explosion that will decimate the government, upend society and destroy any possibility of ever attaining a Democracy supported by the International Community.

At the moment, the International Community, with it key elements the BID and IMF support Jovenel’s concept for Haiti.

The opposition cares nothng about Jovenel’s concept or -for that matter – Haiti’s constructive future.

They will be more than happy to have control of a dead cadaver, simply to have control.

And so it is that the Senate is spending more than $1,000,000 from the Senate funds to generate demonstrations Friday and Saturday. These manifestations are planned to bring chaos to our society and destabilize the elected government.

All of this fits the true definition of Terrorism, illustrated in the following portrait.

THESE ARE THE EXACT STEPS AND GOALS OF THE OPPOSITION.

If it is Terrorism, why isn’t President Moise barring any and all street demonstration in our immediate future?

If he allows these demonstrations a life, they will be followed by more and more.

The Lavalas Terrorists understand the uses of fire to Terrorize.

They have used it in the past.

They will use it in the future.

There is a moment when a flame can be snuffed between a thumb and forefinger….

Then it requires a cup of water… a bucket … a bathtub, swimming pool, lake, and then all of the water in the world will not quell the inferno.

We are at the bucket stage.

Francois Duvalier was free and fairly elected, an election immediately followed by a bunch of people who would reverse the vote.

Duvalier acted immediately!

History repeats itself and we are in a parallel moment in Time.

I hope President Jovenel Moise has the courage to stop what will accelerate beyond control  without firm, decisive intervention.

The Nation is on a razor’s edge.
