An outbreak of cholera in Haiti which started two years ago did come from a UN base housing Nepalese peacekeepers, new evidence suggests.
Research has found that the strain of the disease on the island is identical to that common in Nepal where the UN troops were from.

Unfortunately, the Martelly government has absolutely no determination to do anything for the Haitian People, otherwise, it would go for the United Nations’ throat and demand action – or fire MINUSTAH out of Haiti.
The death toll from the cholera epidemic is much higher than the 7500 figure now stated. There are no really accurate figures available. People die and are uncounted.
Time to take action.
I am not optimistic.
