Jean Baden Dubois, Governor of the Banque de la République d’Haïti – BRH, and Parick Boisvert, Minister of Finance are coordinating the unauthorized printing of Haitian 1000 gourde notes, with the knowledge of some within the Primature.
This is not just a simple case of Haitian theft.
Injecting unauthorized, uncoordinated new money into the economy decreases the value of our currency. For example, if there was 1000 gourdes in circulation and you print an unauthorized 1000 gourdes the original value of 1000 gourdes is now cut in half. Your purchasing power, with the 1000 gourde note is now 500 gourdes.
It is like burning money!
A nation’s economy is carefully balanced. If you want to print new bills you must removed the same number of old bills, from circulation, in order to retain the currency’s value.
The BRH and Minister of Finance are violating this basic economic law. They are creating a massive inflation that will starve our people.
Prices are already too high.
Think of today’s price of rice!!
The injection of more 1000 gourde notes will make things worse. There is already not enough rice and beans for our children. Now, because of the BRH/Finance actions more children will die while the criminals transfer their stolen cash to American accounts.
In addition to the fact that the unauthorized 1000 gourde notes are creating inflation, they are being used to buy up all of the real American Dollars, an action that makes it impossible for Haitians to draw American Dollars from their American dollar accounts in Haitian banks.
Enough is enough!
We have been promised a new Cabinet for two years. Haiti needs a new Cabinet- IMMEDIATELY – filled with responsible, honest competent Patriots who will act to save the Nation’
We do not need Cabinets headed by those selected by so-called political leaders, such as Edmunde Beauzile, who then set out to steal off of the money. Beauzile has already emasculated Traveaux Public with her criminal activities.
She should be arrested, along with her Minister, preventing Beauzile’s retreat to her American mansion.
As a side-issue, much of the unauthorized 1000 gourde note scheme is being used to finance gangs.
