Privert signed a piece of paper, with Senator Youri Latortue and Deputie Cholzer Chancy, President of the Chambre, agreeing to the appointment of Leblanc as Prime Minister.
This would have given some balance to the situation, as Privert loads the National Palace with Lavalas fanatics.
When Privert showed an inclination to depart from the agreement, Deputie Cholzer Chancy wrote a letter to Privert, reminding him of his obligation to consult with the Senate and Chamber of Deputies, in the selection of a Prime Minister. This requirement is set down in the Constitution.
Privert ignored his Constitutional requirements and unilaterally appointed Fritz Jean, a fanatic Lavalas and ex-Lavalas Governor of the Central Bank, under Aristide.
Forget the fact that a lot of money disappeared during his term as Governor, Privert uses his “contrived financial disaster” as a reason to appoint this guy as PM.
Fritz Jean has been an active participant in all Lavalas demonstrations in the Cap Haitian area, over the past years.
And now, PAY ATTENTION:
We all know and love Liliane Pierre Paul – the Lavalas owner of Radio and TV Quiskeya. Aristide gave her this station and Liliane now uses it as a weapon against any and all for political or financial reasons.
If she says something bad about you, a little $$ will prevent an encore.
Even President Martelly recognized her popularity and wrote a carnival song dedicated to her proclivities.
In any event, her husband Anthony Barbier is President Privert’s Chief of Cabinet.
It gets better.
Fritz Jean – Lavalas lunatic – has a child.
Liliane and Barbier have a child.
Fritz Jean’s child is married to/living with the Liliane/Barbier offspring.
A girl and a boy, boy and boy, girl and girl, who knows, this is Haiti!

Le Bureau de communication de la Primature a l’avantage d’informer la population, en général et la presse, en particulier, que le Premier ministre, Son Excellence Monsieur Evans Paul, ainsi que les autres membres de son gouvernement, ne participeront pas à la cérémonie d’installation du Premier ministre nommé par le Président provisoire de la République, Son Excellence Monsieur Jocelerme Privert, sans l’aval des présidents des deux chambres du Parlement, sans la confirmation de l’éligibilité du Premier ministre de consensus désigné, ni l’obtention du vote de confiance de sa déclaration de politique générale, formalités irritantes prévues par l’accord du 6 février 2016.
Le Premier ministre Evans Paul a déclaré ne pas vouloir, en répondant à ladite invitation, s’associer à ces violations flagrantes de la Constitution de 1987 amendée et de l’accord politique du 6 février 2016, pourtant conçu, rédigé, négocié et signé par le sénateur Privert lui-même, qui en est d’ailleurs le principal bénéficiaire, lequel devenu Président provisoire à la faveur du dit accord, s’est engagé à compléter le processus électoral initié en 2015, le deuxième tour étant fixé au 24 avril 2016.
Le Premier Ministre Evans Paul a déjà acheminé une correspondance au Président provisoire spécifiant les motifs de sa non-participation à la cérémonie d’installation de ce Premier ministre.
Wow! What a mess! I am deeply chagrined for Haiti. . Now, all of Martelly/Lamothe’s hardwork is going down the drain. Our next best hope, Jovenel Moise has been marked with a pending coup. Where is our phony international forces in all of this? Silent. They could care less. That Merten guy is something. Not a word, not a peep, no big hoopla over this power grab by Privert. In a way, that’s good for the stupid people of Haiti who couldn’t wait to get rid of Martelly and who failed at every turn to give Martelly credit for the good things he did accomplish. Martelly was not perfect when you get rid of something somewhat decent, you leave a void for the most perversed. Privert is perverted in the worse way. Just like that, we propelled Lavalas back to power. We got exactly what we didn’t want-people who mean to do us harm in power without the consent of the people. NO elections, no voting.
Liliane Pierre Paul is a troll and hopefully, we can now all agree that she had ulterior motives, hence the vitriol directed at Martelly.
One important question? When is Privert going to start working towards fair elections? Never. He will stuff the CEP with is people. He will get rid of Jovenel Moise and crown Narcisse the winner. Will PHTK and PHTK supporters, whom I suspect is huge in sheer numbers, simply allow Jovenel Moise to be tossed out illegally and unfairly out of the race?? They just might because they are decent and operating professionally. Unfortunately, the other side is barbaric and slashing and burning has a sure way of getting everyone to acquiesce!!
