Haiti has very little of anything left, and there is no concerted effort to save what little remains.
It is sad that those who are serving our President, Jovenel Moise, have little or no respect for our Nation’s environment. Otherwise this crime would no be happening.
I have used one rule on land that I have controlled. Not Democratic but effective.

This is a photo of Le Foret des Pins as I remember it.
I can still remember the pine scent as I walked this area. The sound of the breeze through the branches and calls of the wild birds.
What is the point of talking about reforestation when you don’t protect what you have?
Soon there will be no soil to support the new trees and Haiti will be a rock-filled parking lot.
COLLINS
Do we have an Environment Minister?
I have checked Wickipedia and Haiti’s government information stuck at 2009.
