I am sitting here, listening to Chamber of Deputies President Cholzer Chancy on Radio Vision 2000 with Marie Luce Bonhomme at 10:20 P.M.
The streets have been alive with rumors of President Privert’s generation of cash through a huge contraband operation, netting something like $10,000,000 American Dollars.
Coupled with this are the comments of several parliamentarians who have mentioned a payment scale for Deputies and Senators, for their positive votes in support of President Privert’s effort to gain prolongation, of his period in office, until February 7, 2017.
When this suggestion was rebuffed, by some Americans, during his recent disastrous visit to New York, Privert amended downwards, suggestion in would be October.
In actual fact, the “Hero of la Scerie” plans to extend his Presidency indefinitely.
Privert says they will need 16 Senators to remove him and has already guaranteed this will not happen. In other words, cynics believe our greedy Parliamentarians have already started to drink at Privert’s well.
Someone needs to protect Haiti, and its people.
Unfortunately, Parliament is the factor that is supposed to represent the people.
Unfortunately, each of these bums (with a few exception) represents nothing more than his pocketbook. This has always been the case. Even when Aristide was supposed to control the hearts of all Parliament, he had to pay something like $20,000 a head to have American citizen Claudette Werleigh confirmed as Prime Minister.
Only the faces have changed.
Greed rules the day.
The OAS really imposed a bad deal, when they created this Privert fiasco.
They should have left Martelly in place, under Article 136 of the Constitution, to see him hand over control to a new President on May 14.
This would have happened.
Now there is nothing buy predictable uncertainty and the murderer Privert maneuvers for power.
There is no reason for the elections to be delayed, but Privert will create vague excuses, that defy definition.
I am not optimistic.
Haiti will become a pariah, to live as it wishes, or a few Parliamentarians wish, without foreign assistance.
Who will pay for Parliamentarian’s mistresses, Land Cruisers, and per diem expected by our elected representatives?
Many will starve to death, within 600 miles from Miami.
Privert is really a dirty, distasteful, slimy example of humanity. Be sure to wash your hands if you come in contact with him. You cannot be sure where he has been.
