ARISTIDE EXPECTS ARREST IN DOMINIQUE CASE AND HAS SUPPORTERS CREATE CHAOS NATIONWIDE – OR IS IT MINUSTAH TRYING TO JUSTIFY EXTENSION OF OCCUPATION?

June 25, 2014

Like an epidemic of measles, violence has broken out around the nation, generating warning to tourists, by foreign embassies. A gang in Grand Ravine is fighting another in Martissant as they try to gain control of a large area. PNH are not interested in getting involved because the gangs are better armed than the police.

Some cynics suggest that much of the violence could be generated by MINUSTAH in an effort to justify an October extension of their $1,000,000,000 contract.

Lavalas is moving firmly to create problems for everyone and Aristide is spending a lot of cash.

The extradition, to Haiti, of two suspects in the murder of Jean Dominique has brought the final confrontation with Aristide closer. He has nowhere to run, since all nations have refused to accept him. Otherwise he would not be in Haiti now.

The Martelly/Lamothe government must be prepared to act bravely.

We are not optimistic.

  1. Just when things started looking up. We can not afford to let these DIRT BAGS win. There’s too much at stake.

  2. Jean Henry Ceant is in full campaign mode around the nation as he holds meetings in Les Cayes, Jacmel, Hinche and other focal points. He is doing his best to tie the broken elements of Lavalas together and is spending big dollars to do so.

The Martelly team is on holiday, overly confident of popularity and power, which can pass like fog in the morning.

The ONA crisis remains, like an ignored cancer, waiting to erupt.

PSUGO is a mess in spite of claims to the contrary.

And Sophia seems to be a candidate for the Presidency, as she flits around the Nation – appearing everywhere.

Elections are now an impossibility, although this has been apparent since January.

Like a fighter during the 9th round of a 10 round match, Martelly is trying to stay on his feet to reach the final bell.

Unless something changes, there will be a lot of blood spilled before the curtain goes down.

  3. A full scale war in Grande Ravine – during daylight hours!

What an affront to the Martelly government even as Belizaire walks around with an illegal machine gun.

Aristide is about to become a bigger, and bigger problem as he faces the realities of past crimes.

Unfortunately, the Martelly/Lamothe team is not strong enough to maintain security or handle the expanding Aristide crisis.

Each day generates a new and unexpected surprise.

There is an intelligence blackout within the government circles as many focus upon more ways to make money.

The replacement of recently new sidewalks, in Petion-Ville – with $35,000,000 of new ones is just another indication of the waste. These dollars would be better spent on education for Haiti’s children and adults.

At some stage The Piper must be paid.

  4. Ceant va gagner l’élection en 2015 et Lamothe est jugé pour les contrats qu’il a volé pour amis.

  5. And today we have the gangs controlling streets near the center of Port-u-Prince – with no PNH intervention.

This direct challenge to the Martelly/Lamothe government mut be met, otherwise it is only a matter of time until their regime collapses and we will be faced with a 1956 situation.
