October 16, 2015

A large march of PNH officer, accompanied by the Commiissariat 1-457 headed through the center of Port-au-Prince, headed for the Justice Ministry.

They are protesting the fact that they have not been paid for some time.

PNH are not alone. Finance Minister Wilson Lalue has not paid any government employees for months, even though he has the money to do so.

Is this Wilson Laleau’s effort to make in impossible to hold elections October 25th?

Senior members of the protesting police elements say there will be no election October 25t since PNH protection will not be there.

There has been an increasing tension, among the PNH officers, as gunmen have singled police officers out over the past few weeks.

  1. PNH officers say they will not be on duty October 25 if they are not paid back wages.

PNH officers have also told Martelly.

“You wouldn’t give us Laurent Lamothe. We will give you Moise Jean-Charles.”

And we also have a big manifestation in front of MINUSTAH.

Haitians hate MINUSTAH and its indifference to the Haitian people.
