Several thousand students took to the streets today to show their support of elections NOW!! and no support for the delay and transition demanded by a few minority groups.

Foreigners see only the burning cars, and tires, not the 99.9999% of the Nation that is peaceful. Media is drawn by chaos – therefore they take pictures of chaos and not students in their peaceful protest.

Time for Martelly to take control under Article 136 of our Constitution.

He should put MINUSTAH and PNH on streets, before his next speech, then forbid any further violence on the streets. He should state a specific date in April,for the final vote between Jude Celestin and Jovenel Moise – they were the real leaders in the vote which was not as flawed as people now make out.

Martelly should state an inauguration – let’s say on April 12. At that time he will fold his tent and become history.

To tempt fate with a Transitional Government is to deal with the Devil. It will not work and we will lose much more.

Finish the Electoral Process and let Haitians get on with their lives.
Ignore the chaotic, violen minority made up of Aristide/Preval supporters. They represent an unfortunate bloody past and should not direct our future.
