New photographs show the moment lighting hit Haitian capital Port-au-Prince and was perfectly reflected in water.
The lightning hit the city during a Monday evening thunderstorm and was caught on camera through long exposure, NBC says. The strike was reflected from water on a building floor under construction.
Also reflected in the photographs are buildings along the hillside lit up at night and a series of dark purple clouds overhead.
Port-au-Prince is expected to have more thunderstorms and lightning tonight.
