Are you some kind of jerk?

Publishing something in the Nouveliste is not really proof of anything. In fact, it is usually proof of nothing since one can pay to have almost anything published there.

Do you have a lawyer in Haiti?

Do you have one in the States.

Can we talk to them?

Just a couple of minutes ago, I phoned the numbers listed on the details attached to your recent e-mail threatening legal action. I talked to a gentleman who said you were not there. I pressed vigorously and was told, quite rudely, to look for Robert Dietrich elsewhere…. he could not be located at the phone numbers involved.

Are you real, or is someone acting as an agent provocateur?

The article we just published was borrowed from another news site. It mentions an offer from Martelly, but is does not say you accepted. So far as the article is concerned, you still own the place.

When was the last time you were in Haiti?

It does feature the way the peasants have been screwed by the government.

If you really want to do something about the situation you allege, and I now emphasize allege, get me the details and I might be able to do something with them. Up until now it has been what your Haitian associates call Blah, Blah, Blah.

If you will take the time to click on the Founder button above, you will see that I am quite familiar with Haiti, and its scene.

I know most of the people there.

Your problems are really small problems, so far as I am concerned.

I am concerned about the peasant population that is being dispossessed by the government through the use of Eminent Domain. That was the focus of the article if you took time to read past the brief mention of your name, or is this entire battle a simple matter of ego?

There is an arrogance of power and I am against that.

In any event, they are looking for a couple of hundred million, in foreign investment, and there aren’t many foreign pools of money that would even read a proposal on a development that has questionable Title. And the Title is questionable. Martelly’s government ends in a couple of years and it will be a new game.

The ball is in your court (with no legal meanings attached.) so it is up to you to help yourself.
