Yesterday’s radio interview, with Ginette Cherubin, in which she outlined Opont’s criminal actions in an earlier election seem to see Opont agree with her analysis.

The assassination of the CEP Logistics Coordinator, on Delmas,  Sunday, may have been a message. Now Opont says that at least three more months will be required in order to coordinate an election. With this mathematics, we see the earliest date,  for a vote, sometime in October.

Opont has already made his fortune and would like to retire.

We may now have a delay in which candidate’s documentation can be re-examined – allowing people like Laurent  Lamothe and Jacky Lumarque to be reconsidered.

  1. If election held with Parliament first I agree with your earlier analysis in which Senate and Chamber of Deputies will be put in place. They will pick a Prime Minister and then delay other elections, into infinity.

    Constitution will be changed.

    President position will cease to exist.

    Americans will be happy.

    Preval has this in mind having VERITE win control of Parliament and then – perhaps – put Paul Denis in as Prime Minister.

    End of story!

    Start of permanent periods of instability as PM changed more often than socks.
