The situation continues to deteriorate as gunmen – reportedly associated with the Martelly team – and VERITE continue to wreak havoc throughout the community. It is an effort to control the electoral process in a way that BOUCLIER, PHTK or VERITE will control parliament in the planned, flawed electoral process.
Martelly is moving to prolong his term, like so many Haitian presidents, in the past.
Unfortunately, he is destroying whatever legacy he may have possessed.
Many of his supporters who loved, and trusted him, now hate Martelly.
Who will fill the eventual vacuum that must result from this train wreck?
