War has broken out on Bolosse 5 Avenue, areas of Carrefour Fuille and Martissant, near Grande Ravine. Two groups of gangs are fighting for control of the areas.   The gangs of Base Pilate, against  others from from Carrefour Fuilles and especially gangs of Savanne Pistache.The groups of Base Pilote, and others, had been armed with heavy weapons in January by Rene Civil and Arnel Belizaire.

Traffic in the area was impossible this morning with at least three killed and numbers of wounded.

Although there are 2 PNH stations, in the areas, the police have stayed inside their buildings because the gangs are more heavily armed than they are.

Belizaire, Civil, and their associates, are trying to make things un-governable so the Martelly/Lamothe government will fail.

One would expect MINUSTAH intervention but MINUSTAH is noteworthy by its absence, over the past weeks. They have really become the first guests under the Martelly effort to welcome tourists to Haiti.
