The Martelly team is focused upon making money over the graves of Haiti’s 300,000 earthquake victims. For all of his promises to do away with corruption and bring the Aristide/Preval thieves to justice, Martelly has done the exact opposite.

He goes dancing, with Preval, in an obscene show that is really not necessary. He does not need Preval’s support to succeed. However, he does need the support of the Haitian people and the population has reacted negatively to his courting of Preval.

Martelly promised to seek the $198,000,000 Preval stole from Petro Caribe funding. He has done nothing.

Preval plundered ONA and Martelly promised action. He recently sent a team to ONA and this venture ended with the murder of a syndicate director. Preval has paid people to move to the Dominican Republic, in order to avoid any inquiry. Six or seven Senators are blocking inquiries.

Then there is the CARS FOR PARLIAMENT GAME. Martelly gave each elected representative $20,000 USD to buy a car. Then he told them to keep the money, he would provide a car for them on a 3 month lease…. His team then acquired something like 100 automobiles that they are leasing to the government, for use by parliament. The game will be ended – in 9 months – when he allows they parliamentarians to keep the vehicles – free and clear.

During that 9 month period his collaborators will collect $4500 per month, per vehicle for the 9 months, which gives them a profit of something over $4,000,000.

And this is only one of the scams the Martelly people are playing to steal millions.

The two recent aircraft incidents involving government officials occurred with a helicopter and aircraft owned by a company with Foreign Affairs Minister Laurent Lamothe as a major shareholder. The Government of Haiti is paying this company a fortune in lease costs. People see the two helicopters, red and white – whizzing around.

And all of this has not gone unnoticed. The people of Gonaives have promised to block Martelly’s effort to deliver the traditional January 1 speech there, the seat of Haiti’s Independence. This will be a major embarrassment to Martelly, should it occur.

And this blockage will not be based upon nationalistic pride. It is also based upon money. The grassroots groups – that supported Martelly’s presidential election, are upset that he never spread any cash in their direction. Instead, Martelly has given other groups, in Gonaives – cash.

And then there are the millions that disappeared from the educational fund. Something like $27,000,000 was stolen and no one has provided and accounting. Instead, Martelly has attempted to drain funds from another source.

What about the $2,000,000 from a cement rip off – $1.50 per bag – carried out by Martelly’s Chief of Cabinet – Gregory Mayard Paul?

The collapse of the Clinton led team is nothing but a boon to the Martelly people. The lack of supervision allows their plundering of funds better utilized in the reconstruction of Haiti.

This is a crime that the International Community fails to address.

Soon there will be no money left and Haiti will depend on hand outs forever.
