JOVENEL MOISE IN FIRST ROUND?

We are watching the preliminary results on Haitian TV and it looks like Jovenel Moise will get substantially more than 50%  of the vote.

The official results will not be released for a number of days – some say 10, so we won’t know for sure, but some voting bureaus were stunning.

A small example: One in Terrier rouge had 167 for Jovenel Moise, 7 for Jude Celestin, 6 for Moise Jean-Charles and 1 for Ceant. Narcisse didn’t receive one.

Result from Ouest Department will be important because this makes up about 40% of the national count.

Some expect big trouble, generated by Celestin and Moise Jean-Charles tomorrow. They believe in electoral negotiation by intimidation and know the International Community is vulnerable to this.

Wait and see.

    Jude Celestin, mwen genyen yon sel kestyion pou ou? Le fait ke ou pedi 2010 ou oblige genyen 2015? Pa di tou. Se pep ki bay pouvwa. Chak ane tanperati politik la chanje! Montre sa ou ka fe, epi kite pep la decide. Ou petet bon, ou petet “banan”. Rete tan. Mande Hillary Clinton koman mantalite sa te ede’l bat Obama?? Li pedi!
