President Jovenel Moise has stepped in to solve the crisis generated by our system’s inability, or unwillingness to generate th documentation required to guarantee acceptance of 10,000 Haitian immigrants, by the Chilean government.

The July 22 deadline no longer stands as President Moise obtained a 90 day extension in which to solve the problem. Already, several thousand cases have been resolved!

Many months saw a constipated system block generation of documentation as hundreds of Haitian lawyers endeavored to make money from their fellow Haitians situation. Coupled with this was PNH Director General Gedeon’s purposeful moves to block efficient operation of our DCPJ in a bold effort to embarrass President Moise.

Chile needs workers and opened the door to many Haitians.

This benefits Chile and Haiti.

Chile expands its workforce and these Haitians will send cash home to their families in a win – win situation for all concerned.

Bravo President Moise, for taking action when the rest of our system remains buried in paralysis.
