Arnel Belizaire is working to guarantee that we will not have elections in 2014. In fact, they way he is going, it seems as though he, and those who pay him, does not want elections – Period!!
Even as the International Community remains mute – Arnel Belizaire, the escaped convict and illegally elected Deputie, moves with impunity at the head of a heavily armed gang – taking steps to undermine the Martelly/Lamothe government – and the DEMOCRATIC PROCESS.
His recent attack on the Parquet – to free a number of individuals, held for legal process – is an act against the State.
Yet again, he has led a heavily armed group against the offices of ONA. This effort has seen the offices shut – yet again, for an indefinite period, a severe inconvenience for those who have their money deposited there. ONA is a bank and should not be subject to the criminal acts of Arnel Belizaire, or those who finance him.
Unfortunately, the 1987 Constitution, and its amended form, seems to give him immunity, because he is a member of the government. He can only be judged by those who sit with him, in the Chamber of Deputies.
Unless the Chamber of Deputies act, to judge Arnel Belizaire, or – at least – lift his immunity to prosecution – the Chamber will be equally guilty of his efforts to undermine the DEMOCRATIC PROCESS.
The International Community, and a hoard of others, press the Martelly/Lamothe team to honor the DEMOCRATIC PROCESS – even as these critics fail to support the Martelly/Lamothe effort to maintain control of the process.
Someone like Arnel Belizaire would be jailed – INSTANTLY!!! In Canada, the USA or France! Yet, our hands are tied!
At some time there may be a situation – created by Arnel Belizaire – in which someone’s life may be threatened and that person takes a corrective action – that sees Arnel Belizaire shot 20 or 30 times – as the frightened individual acts in panic!
As a matter of interest, Arnel Belizaire claims that – on travel between the United States and Haiti – he does not go through the normal security procedures. He claims that he does not go through the x-ray facilities/metal scanners!!!
If this is true, there is some criminal action in progress.
No elected representative in the United States is free from passing normal security checks. In fact, an American Congressman was recently discovered with a handgun in his briefcase. An arrest followed. Why then is a convicted escaped Haitian criminal, who just happens to be an illegally positioned member of Haiti’s Chamber of Deputies – able to avoid requirements of the United States?
Belizaire claims that American Airlines does not, would not dare to force him through a security check. If this is so, American Airlines should be investigated by TSA for flagrant violation of the law!!
Remember the incident in Les Cayes, during the Aristide/Preval era, when Belizaire wanted a Montero. He held the driver up and forced him, and his passenger out of the vehicle. Belizaire then emptied his Uzi into them killing one and making a paraplegic of the other.
Belizaire is a murdering psychopath who knows he will be immediately arrested, when his term in parliament ends.
In a civilized country, this dog would be shot in the street.
Where are the Human Right Groups and the haitian population in all this? What do they say about Arnel and Moise in terms of their misconducts? Why don’t they condamn those acts and ask them those people are removed from the parlement? These are questions that I ask myself because every group wants to magnify everything that the government Martelly/Lamothe does but not those people. It seems that people are confused in terms of who are there to help the rebuilding of the country or not.
Hello dear patriots, It is my understanding that the TSA is not allowed to check diplomatic persons. Under the “Diplomatic immunity law” However, someone as arrogant as most Haitian politicians would make it seems as if no one would “dare” screen “them”. My problem is that I understand “diplomatic immunity” is to protect the diplomats/official of a country when they are abroad visiting another country. This law makes the official(s) immune to mostly every law of the visiting country. IN OTHER WORDS, if this same official breaks the laws of their home countries THEY CAN AND SHALL BE ARRESTED. Except if they are at the time on their way to fulfill their legal duties. If they are on their way to fulfilling their legal duties they are to be arrested immediately after they have completed such task and charged for their alleged domestic crime(s)..
