Honorable Members,

The Haitian and Haitian-American community denounce the widespread fraud and corruption which is stalling the democratic process in Haiti.  The Preval government is using state funds and intimidation tactics to maintain power and prevent the liberty of expression and every Haitian citizen’s right to vote.  The hand-picked Preval CEP (Provisional Electoral Council) is complicit in accepting ballot-stuffing and publishing results that do not reflect the true will of the Haitian people.

We cannot accept injustice and impunity continue in Haiti.  The conspirators holding Haiti hostage and in a state of desolation need to be brought to justice and held accountable.  Accepting and tolerating an anti-democratic and transparent election process in Haiti will only facilitate a dictatorship and allow for the continued embezzlement of foreign aid surpassing the $30 Million that was just wasted on a “sham” Haitian selection.  What occurred in Haiti on November 28, 2010 was not an election.

We Haitians want our country back!
