FRENCH AMBASSADOR INSULTS HAITIAN NATION!!! REFUSES HANDSHAKE WITH DUVALIER AT 122 ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION FOR ST. LOUIS DE GONZAGUE

June 25, 2012

On Saturday, ex-President Jean-Claude Duvalier attended the 122nd anniversary celebrations for the Institution St. Louis de Gonzague, the school he attended as a young Haitian. Also in attendance was French ambassador Didier Le Brett, complete with a pink Martelly armband.

Jean-Claude Duvalier, always a gentleman, extended his hand to the French ambassador and this gesture was refused, a public slight, and insult to the Haitian people.

Haitians, pro and anti-Duvalier should react to this gross, calculated slight.

  1. Why did they send us a gay guy who would not be trusted with anything in France?

  2. Jean Claude Duvalier, an honorary haitian citizen, not an official of the Government had no right to extend his hand to an ambassador from any foreign country unless the latter did it first.

    1. That is absurd. Jean Claude is a Former President, unless you have forgotten. A pissant Ambassador is still less than him.

  3. Devil’s Kiss

Didier LeBret does not seem to follow the lessons of his former boss. He will surely be recalled to his country, before President Martelly declares him “persona non grata” for insulting a Haitian dignitary and in agreement with all of us, whether we are Kamoquins or Macoutes.
In 2008 during a dinner of the CRIF, President Sarkozy said he will refused to “shake hands with a leader who does not recognize Israel”.
He has just received Gaddafi and visiting Sassou-Nguesso in Congo, and the Algerian Boutefika. All three refuses to recognize Israel.
Sarkozy have not only shaken hands with them, he kissed them.
“To the one who, in his 2007´s program, had the intention of being the guarantor of the rights of man, we say: compliments Mr. president!”

  4. Obama disrespected Preval, Haitians are disrespected world-wide, Haitians are treated badly in The D.R, Bahamas, Jamaica, the U.S and frances….. I wonder why? Oh yea! It’s because for over 200years we still dont have our business together. We refuse to do the one thing our flag ask of us to do: Unite! Our national anthem says to walk in unity: not “machan diri!” But no, we wont so no one likes or respect Haitians. we are always begging for money because we wont contribute for one another. We are always disrespected now it’s Duvalier. God help us because I am yet to see the Haitian willing to restore our image, our power, our pride! Our Government is non-existent. Our hearts and souls grow dull. I just wish we would unite and work together, so we may be “Respected” like any great nation.

  5. Im hatian and ashamed of it ,I was born here but was raised in another country, our people is the most messed up people on the planet, how could we get respect if we dont respect ourselves. We tolerate every messed up thing that done to use.We hate our own people and distrust our own government, for good reason.how could anyone complain about the French Abassador not shaking hands with Jean Claude. The people that are upset need to find something esle to be upset about.I find that the Haitians thats always looking at stuff like this to complain about are the ones that need to really look in the mirror. My freinds our country and ex presidents ,politicians, judges, senators, deputys are dogs of the worst kind.

  6. Relland Guiraud is ashamed of been Haitian. He is ugly and he knows it. Being born in Haiti does´nt make him a Haitian and if he was one, he would understand that “le linge sale se lave en famille”.
A foreign diplomat reflects the idea of his government and of his own people. Once you help him destroy a former president of your own country, democrat or dictator, you are his accomplice in the low intensity war that certain countries have been undertaking against Haiti for more than 200 years.
    Shame on you Relland Guiraud!

  7. WHO IS JEAN CLAUDE DUVALIER OR JEAN BERTRAND ARISTIDE AND EVEN PREVAL ? THEY STIL HAVE THE HAITIAN PEOPLE’S JUDGEMENT, THEIR SWORDS ARE WAITING FOR THE RIGHT TIME.THEY WILL HAVE MORE TO SUFFER BEFORE DEATH. THEY WILL HAVE TO EAT THEIR TONGUE JUST LIKE SMSHINK A LIVE BABY IN A MORTAR.

  8. THERE ARE NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SMASHING A NEWBORN BABY IN A PILON AND CROSSING THE HEART OF A THREE MONTH OLD BABY WITH A BAYONETTE ( SWORD ) IN A SUBBURB CALLED “NUMERO DEUX” IN JEREMIE.

    1. Why the hell would anyone even think of doing either??? Explain a bit about your comment Jean W Philippe, if you have time.

  9. claudi, you can only respond to relland guirauds comment by calling him ugly, but I agree with every thing he says,I myself was born in haiti and educated and lived in haiti today. The people that have run this country in the past are the ones that made haiti what it is today. To stand by and call a fellow haitian brother ugly for his comment on something that is true is a bad thing to do.Guirands insults of expresidents, politicians, judges that has done nothing for their country is on the money. please take a look in the mirror
