Jean-Henry Ceant, presidential candidate, was attacked when his group campaigned in the Delmas area of Port-au-Prince.

Shots were fired and Ceant was lucky to escape with his life.

This is the fourth attempt on the lives of presidential candidates by people known to by associated with Preval’s UNITE party.

The MINUSTAH people and international community continue to turn a blind eye on the deteriorating situation in Haiti. MINUSTAH is still married to the concept of Preval and Celestin controlling the future government.

Something must be done if there is to be any sort of credible election.
