We received a neat piece of disinformation:

DEMISSION PIERRE LOUIS OPONT AU CEP

Pierre Louis Opont, enfin, tire sa reverence pour satisfaire la frustratio n des partis politiques.

Dans un courrier  recu au Palais national ce mercredi 9 septembre, Le president du CEP Mr Pierre Louis Opont  a adressé sa demission à la tête du conseil Electoral Provisoire CEP. ” Je crois que l’obligation morale m’a été imposée de tirer ma réverence au CEP pour satisfaire la frustration des partis politiques” declare-t-il.

Mr Opont se dit conscient des irregularités dans l’organisation et  le deroulement des scrutins du 9 aout, et affirme avoir fait tout ce qui depend de son autorité pour empecher tout espèce de fragilité; malheureusement il n’y parvenait pas. ” mon mandat etait d’organiser des elections libres, honnetes, inclusives et democratiques; pas pour etablir un climat de securite dans les centres de vote” a-t-il declaré dans un entrevu en privé.

Mr Opont declare qu’il laisse le CEP comme appui à la démocratie. Que la volonte du peuple regne en tout temps a-t-il conclu.

Perhaps Opont should keep the wording on file because he will not survive until the October elections.

Enough is enough.

Haiti should have taken steps, years ago, against criminal heads of the CEP, starting with Aristide’s man, Robert Salaba, and other CEP members in 1990.

Salaba became Minister of Foreign Affairs while others headed banks and government agencies. They received millions in $$
Same goes for Aristide’s 2000 CEP.

And Opont’s first shot when he stole election for OAS in 2006, and admitted this July 10, 2015 and we still appointed him to head CEP.

Jail one of them, for their crimes, and subsequent CEP leaders, and members, will act on behalf of the Nation, and not their pocketbooks.

Opont must be jailed for what he has done to our Nation- TWICE!!!

We must recover the bribes he, and his associates have taken.

Where is the integrity of Marie Luce Bonhomme, my hero who used to stand for Justice.

They say money has no smell.

Perhaps she wears stronger perfume.

MAKE AN EXAMPLE OF OPONT. JAIL HIM AND SEIZE HIS BANK ACCOUNTS AND FOREIGN PASSPORT.

  1. Today, September 9, Arnel Belizaire’s sponsored manifestation put a very large crowd in fron the the Petion-Ville CEP headquarters, demanding Opont’s resignation, and disbanding of the current CEP.

    He was successful today.

    Another manifestation is planed for tomorrow and, with the momentum, may draw even more people.

    He will have another the next day.

    Opont’s time is now coning to an end.

    The Martelly government may be on its last legs.

    The collapse of CEP and Martelly government could be a fact, within the next week.

    I don’t think the October 25 elections have any chance at all.
