Collapsed CARIBBEAN MARKET Sat On Huge Cache of COCAINE and DRUG MONEY. Owners Block Rescue Attempts. Many Died In Direct Result.

CARIBBEAN MARKET SAT ON HUGE CACHE OF COCAINE AND DRUG MONEY.

Maitre Decad  (phonetic spelling). A  lawyer was trapped in the rubble of the Caribbean Market when it collapsed on January 12.

It was a strange scene.

American guards were keeping anyone and everyone from the scene, even as the trapped man, with four others, transmitted messages  via cell phone to their family. They said they had four phones and would shut off all but one to save the batteries.
Dominican and Cuban teams went to rescue people and were turned away as were teams from other nations.

The lawyer,  and his group, managed to stay alive by eating peanut butter.

Five days passed before their rescue was initiated even as their continued transmissions begged for assistance.

How many others were alive beneath the rubble and were not lucky enough to find a jar of peanut butter??

How many others – including many foreign citizens – died a lonely and terrible death because some drug runners were protecting their drugs and illegal profits.

Intelligence sources, within the American community and the Haitian Police reveal that the site was guarded, preventing any rescue attempts, because a large amount of cocaine and cash was stored in the basement.

One would hope that American Embassy officials take this suggestion seriously since a number of American citizens were trapped in the collapse.

Who were the American guards, keeping people away on the first day??

The owners of the Caribbean Market are known to be big time in the cocaine business.

The DEA knows this.

The American embassy knows this.

Any maid and houseboy knows this.

The Caribbean Market owners’ actions constitute a criminal offense in the American legal system.

American citizens died in the Caribbean Market.

Charge the owners of Caribbean Market, within the American legal system.

At least lift their American visas.

  1. I attended a memorial service for a Caribbean Market victim. He was injured in the collapse and would have survived with medical assistance. His injuries, along with dehydration brought on death after a few days. His legs were pinned beneath debris.

Not a pleasant way to die…listening to voices on top of the rubble, ordering rescuers away.

As I understand it, there was a secret sealed room, beneath the building, in which something over 400 kilos of cocaine was stored for shipment, along with nearly $20,000,000 in cash from earlier sales, waiting transfer to Columbia.

No matter what they have done, a sniffer dog will detect traces – major traces – of cocaine in this building. While this is not enough to convict anyone it should be enough to cancell all of their visas for the United States. Those with residence, should lose that.

Their criminal indifference cost lives. In a legally-based country this would constitute murder. It Haiti it merely constitutes “protection of goods and profits.”

  2. The US Guards that were there standing guard at the market during the time immediately after the earthquake were from the paramilitary security group formerly known as BLACKWATER.
Guns for hire to the highest bidder.

  3. Hello,
I am a lawyer with a major in journalism and I must say that this article has been written in the most unconventional way. First of all claims have been made under anonymity as we cannot know who is the author of the text and none of the actual accusations that have been made with substantial proof and facts to back them up.
It seems like the person who has written it has been affected by something and is trying to anger it out on claims of drug dealing.
    Let’s analyze the text:
-First of all, the picture posted in this article shows no evidence of drugs or cocaine yet the title of such picture is: “CARIBBEAN MARKET SAT ON HUGE CACHE OF COCAINE AND DRUG MONEY”.
-Apparently the author keeps on asking how many other this and how many other that, I think if you’re going to write such accusations, you should do your homework and try to find out exactly how many people died and how many were American citizens.
-And what exactly do you call an intelligent source, next time try to say who that source is because it doesn’t inspire much credibility by saying “an intelligent source”… not a very “intelligent choice” of words i must say.
-Maybe if the DEA knows about this they could give the anonymous author more information about the amount of cocaine and money found in the basement, instead of saying a large amount which could be relative to each and everyone, 10 kilos could be large for me and not for you…. see what i mean.
-Have you ever thought that maybe the rescue workers which you happen to call “guards” were keeping people away because the ground was still unsafe and going in the shaky building could result in even more deaths !!?!?
-As I understand… the author makes a weird suggestion by implying that if they cannot charge the owners of the supermarket they could take their American visas away??? What is that implying?!?!?! That if in facts they are dealing drugs taking their visas away will compensate for all the “lonely and terrible deaths” they caused ??? I think that’s the part which crumbled your story, because you don’t have a real sense of what justice is really about, and in the end this article simply reflects your personal interests and conflicts and every journalist should know that objectivity and facts are the number one rule to real communication and credibility.
So next time you plan on writing a piece like this, check your facts , bring out the proof, and try to answer the basic questions of journalism : WHO? , WHAT?, WHEN?, WHERE?, HOW?, WHY? And HOW MUCH?!!!
Until then keep your “proofless” stories on your Word files before publishing them on a website which in all honesty doesn’t inspire much of anything that way you will avoid making a fool of yourself . Or better yet, maybe you should try to call the DEA and the AMERICAN EMBASSY directly, maybe they’ll listen then.
By the way keep in mind that writing false accusations about a person and entity can escalate to legal action so If I were you, I would start writing articles to sell so as to make some money to pay out your lawyers and face the lawsuit you are about to get.
Oh… Before I forget…. Change the name of your website because the word TRUTH isn’t really part of your vocabulary and stop insulting people’s intelligence. And if you don’t know about IP addresses, well …fortunately yours has been traced.
    Good luck!!!

      “Hello,

I really doubt that you are either an attorney, or a  major in journalism because of your lack of basic understanding as to the presentation of material or the legalities  involved. If there had been some medical question, in my comment, you would probably claim to be a doctor, in addition to Lawyer and journalist.
I studied law with a major in economics.
The article is not  anonymous. It is written by Michael Collins.

“It seems like the person who has written it has been affected by
something and is trying to anger it out on claims of drug dealing.
      Let’s analyze the text:”

There is no anger. Perhaps some disappointment in our government’s lack of interest with regard to actually stopping the cocaine traffic, but nothing more. I am a pragmatist (that word has probably sent you off to a dictionary to learn its meaning.)

The Caribbean Market is owned by the Zenny family, along with other cartel members, including Senator Lambert. The Zennys are tied to Faurel Celisten as lietenants in his cocaine business before he was jailed. The Zennys are married into the CAM owner’s family, creating a massive money-laundering organization.

“First of all, the picture posted in this article shows no evidence of
drugs or cocaine yet the title of such picture is: “CARIBBEAN MARKET
SAT ON HUGE CACHE OF COCAINE AND DRUG MONEY”. “

That statement is too pathetic to deserve a comment. How is a picture of the debris going to show what was in a secret room, beneath the basement. It does show the Caribbean Market’s paid security, keeping everyone out…EVERYONE!!!

“Apparently the author keeps on asking how many other this and how
many other that, I think if you’re going to write such accusations,
you should do your homework and try to find out exactly how many
people died and how many were American citizens.”

We know exactly how many people died. We also knew some of them and attended memorial services for them. One was my cousin.

“And what exactly do you call an intelligent source, next time try to
say who that source is because it doesn’t inspire much credibility by
saying “an intelligent source”… not a very “intelligent choice” of
      words i must say.”

If I was looking for an “intelligent source” I certainly wouldn’t refer to you.

The words used are “intelligence source” but then a lawyer with a major in journalism wouldn’t be expected to know this. I was in the intelligence business for a number of years so I can manage the phrase.

“-Maybe if the DEA knows about this they could give the anonymous
author more information about the amount of cocaine and money found in
the basement, instead of saying a large amount which could be relative

one rule to real communication and credibility.”

As a “pretend lawyer” the anonymous writer of that comment should know that the American Government does not act against cocaine whenever they find a criminal. They often use this source to capture others. Faurel Celestin, a major, major, major factor in the cocaine business should have been jailed forever. Instead, he spent 5 years in a North Carolina prison, better than some luxury hotels, where he was free to do whatever he wanted, between 0600 and 2300 hours. Unfortunately, there was no swimming pool, but he toughed it out. Celestin is back in Haiti, with his fortune intact. There must be some lesson here.

By the Visa Factor, I am implying that a canceled visa is better than no retribution at all.

My sense of justice would upset journalists, human rights activists and meter maids in Santa Monica. I would just shoot the bastards and let God sort it out.

Your comment is appreciated, because it shows that another person visited the web site, however, you thoughts suggest your mind is totally scattered or you do not understand the English language. I do not mean this as an insult but, as someone with English as a Second Language, this is sometimes the case. If you would rather write a comment in French or Creole, I will reply in the same.

“So next time you plan on writing a piece like this, check your facts ,
bring out the proof, and try to answer the basic questions of
journalism : WHO? , WHAT?, WHEN?, WHERE?, HOW?, WHY? And HOW MUCH?!!! “

Give me a break. What journalist ever gave much credence to those valuable cornerstones of Truth?? Haiti would not be in its present condition, had journalists told the Truth.

“Until then keep your “proofless” stories on your Word files before
publishing them on a website which in all honesty doesn’t inspire much
of anything that way you will avoid making a fool of yourself .

Or better yet, maybe you should try to call the DEA and the AMERICAN
EMBASSY directly, maybe they’ll listen then.”

The information came from the PNH Haitian National Police, MINUSTAH, the DEA and Embassy. That is why I suggested revocation of visas as a remedy

“By the way keep in mind that writing false accusations about a person
and entity can escalate to legal action so If I were you, I would

No one is going to file an action inside the American legal system. Unlike the Haitian scene we can press for revelation of the Truth under oath. Perjury could see the liar behind bars for anything up to 14 years. The Truth, in this case, could see the person behind bars for a much longer period of time since the Truth about the cash/cocaine would come out.

The prosecutors here are ready an willing.

  4. the Jacmel Cartel.

This group controls most of the food imports into Haiti from the Dominican Republic. One twitch from them and the food supply could be cut off. They are the Caribbean Market…where people died while guards kept rescuers away. DEA, MUNUSTAH and PNH sources say there was a secret chamber, underneath the building, where a cache of cocaine and cash was buried. They kept rescuers away until this could be retrieved. People died as a result. One Haitian lawyer, and his family were trapped for four days. They maintained cell phone communication, begging for rescue. This rescue was blocked for days, by the Caribbean Market people.

  5. Lie Detector
Perhaps if you took the time to read what was written-and with a Journalism degree, surely, you know what a blog is, don’t you?

“Intelligence sources, within the American community and the Haitian Police reveal”
    Not as you quoted
    “Intelligent sources.”

All of the time you took to write your weak threatening comment to this site was wasted in the fact that you failed to READ the article correctly, which reflects on your intelligence, and claims of degrees in Law and Journalism. Perhaps you should give that a bit of thought.

  6. Wow!

I know of problems pertinent to Jacmel since I came from there to Boston some years past. Cocaine has defeated our society as a plague against old values. It is most difficult for a personage to be honest these days. Those against the barons of cocaine or business elite – too often the same persons, face death if they resist.

The country has been destroyed through drugs.

I am saddened through this misfortune.
