Criticized the CEP and other officials for sacrificing the national interest for VISAS, referring the American embassy’s cancellation, and threatened cancellation of anyone blocking the wishes of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
At midnight, the CEP decision saw them approve a Manigat/Celestin run-off.
Then the American embassy made its threats.
The results were delayed until the following morning and were, by this time, changed to see a Manigat/Martelly run-off for the presidency.
In fact, the OAS, American and International Community’s refusal to cancel the criminally flawed electoral process, has doomed this poor nation to another wasted 5 years.
The American claim that the election “must reflect the will and desires of the Haitian people” has – yet again – showed how criminally cynical and dishonest the American/Obama/Clinton government can be.
The election was beyond salvage and should have been annulled. The true winners, of the first round, were Ceant/Baker, with Martelly of Alexis in third place. Preval was frightened by a possible Ceant win and set out to fix the elections in his favor.
As it is, the Haitian people must live with another 5 year, cynical reminder of Preval’s indifference to his people’s well being.
You forgot to mention Jude Celestin quote for Obama to the effect that Obama was happy that the Haitian elections turned out the way they did…BECAUSE THAT WAS THE WAY HE WANTED IT!!!
Obama is a criminal.
WHY DID WE WASTE $25,000,000 ON AN ELECTION.
WHY DIDN’T HILLARY CLINTON AND OBAMA JUST SEND US THE RESULTS IN AN E-MAIL.
THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY WILL PAY, FOR THEIR STUPIDITY.
UNFORTUNATELY, HAITI, AND ITS PEOPLE, WILL PAY FOR THE CRUEL INDIFFERENCE OF THEIR INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATES.

Haiti has become very anti-foreigner and especially anti-American since Hillary Clinton forced us to accept a criminal election.
Haiti hasn’t been an independent country for years because we are so dependent on the help and handout of the international community. We got to the point where we can’t do anything for ourselves, foreigners have to tell us how to run our country. We are paying the price with all this election drama. Haitian leaders need to focus on giving Haiti back its independence, we should be able to conduct our own election and fixing the country to bring it back to only deal with the international communitiy with trades and foreign relations.
