Actually, the title of this article is a little too wide-ranging. To deal “with the criminals in their ranks” there would be no quorum to vote. So let us just focus on the Senate Criminals who participated in the recent violence that set the Nation back some years.-
Senate President Lambert has publicly attacked Senator Beauplan for stealing a large generating units, from the Senate, before Beauplan urged the Mob to burn the Senate down.
There are at least a few major crimes in Beauplan’s action.
What doesn’t Senate President Lambert plan to do about this?
And then, there is the case of Senator Don Kato, an Intellectual Author of the recent pillage that destroyed key elements of our business community and soiled our international image almost beyond revival.
And we have members of the Senate, and Deputy Jerry Tardeau suggesting ex-Prime Minister Lafontant be arrested.
For what?
Prime Minister Lafontant did an exemplary job with what he had to work with, in face of ongoing demands, from members of the Senate and Chamber of Deputies, for cash payments to generate votes.
One must be embarrassed listening to the drivel spoken by our elected representatives. Watch the attached video to see the embarrassing circus in action. SAD, very sad.
Tardeau managed to create a financial fiasco – the OASIS – that could never make enough to service its loans, even with full occupancy. He managed to create an expensive “Moment” – a bordello that cannot make money in an area where other establishments, of this type are making a fortune.
There must be a lesson here!
Time for the Senate and Chamber of Deputies to look inward and get their respective houses in order, before they try to make a bigger mess of the Nation’s problems.
The Senate should get rid of PNH Director General Michel-Ange Gedeon – IMMEDIATELY – then move on to deal with its internal challenge, dealing with Beauplan, Cassy, Don Kato, and a few others who do not deserve to represent our people.
THEY DESERVE BETTER AS OUR SENATE STEALS CASH FROM THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION THAT SHOULD SEE DECENT SCHOOLS FOR THEM, INSTEAD OF EXPENSIVE HOUSES IN FORIDA FOR THEIR SENATORS.
And Tardeau somehow managed to get the BNC to absorb his failing loans so the Haitian people would pay for his mistakes.
Senator Beauplan and Director General Gedeon have both made cash purchase of real estate in Forida. Gedeon spent a cool $1,000,000 on a house in Coral Springs while Senator Beauplan spent more modestly: $600,000 for an Orlando home.
Should be an Interdiction Order or arrest warrant for Gedeon.

Earlier this week Senator Joseph Lambert, Senate Speaker on a radio in the capital accused Senator Ricard Pierre (Pitit Dessalin), for stealing a generator in the Senate “Senator Ricard Pierre, has diverted and stealing a generator in the Senate. He should return it to the Senate before asking the people to burn Parliament.”
Causing in return an accusation of Senator Pierre, saying “The Senate Speaker Joseph Lambert has rented a house for the sum of 8 million gourdes with funds from the Senate is hijacking…”
