WE SEEM TO BE LOSING FOCUS AS MARTELLY INSIDERS ATTEMPT GOVERNMENTAL SUICIDE BY CONTINUING EFFORT TO DESTROY PRIME MINISTER LAMOTHE WHEN HE IS ALL THAT IS REALLY JUSTIFYING SURVIVAL OF THE MARTELLY GOVERNMENT…. $$$ HAVE BEEN PAID TO CERTAIN DEPUTIES TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN –  EGOS ASIDE- WITHOUT LAMOTHE,  MARTELLY WILL BE TOAST WITHIN A FEW MONTHS AS ARISTIDE, APAID, AND OTHERS WIN – HAITI LOSES – AGAIN!!

Look at the photograph!! This is what our government should represent. The charismatic Martelly passes the daily load on to his friend and Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe.  And then Lamothe carries the weight, making President Martelly look good.   That is what has been happening.

This photograph once figured importantly in a publicity campaign, for the Martelly/Lamothe government. When these disappeared from the scene, replaced with one featuring a lone Martelly – observers should have taken note!  This message was sent months ago, a message that made a clear point that Martelly did not wish to share the stage with anyone. In fact, Prime Minister Lamothe must operate with a Cabinet that is not of his choice. A phone call from Michel or Sophia can bring something, everything, to a halt. Lamothe did manage to retain control of Planification – a most important factor in the Nations reconstruction – and now Martelly wants to take this ministry over in a tricky game that could see the Prime Minister removed – indirectly – by a loss of control in Planification!!  A non-confidence vote by surrogate!!

Unfortunately, Martelly carries a lot of baggage, some of which can be ignored, while other baggage refuses to be ignored. Martelly’s previous peccadillos were willingly ignored, by most, when he took office, with a promise to bring Aristide, Preval and other criminals to justice.

The Lamothe initiated process to rein in our out-of-control criminality has frightened many politicians and businessmen who depend upon criminality to survive.   Sophia Martelly’s unbridled greed cannot seem to be controlled, even with the threat of criminal action. She believes being First Lady, with a big Web Site and entourage entitles her to immunity/impunity or whatever label she uses. She has even tried to install the mediocre Valerie Milfort  in the Prime Minister’s place. This would facilitate Sophia’s greed and guarantee complete disaster for Haiti.

Other members, of Sophia’s family, see themselves as being above the law and in possession of IQs in excess of 140 when the entire team, added together, might not reach that total!!

The Judge Jean Serge Joseph fiasco was predictable even if his stroke wasn’t.  He was a Canadian and – as such – was not legally acceptable to hold a position within the court system. No one had to assassinate him! His entire process was dead from day one!!!  That’s why he was chosen!!!  Who picked the judge??

The International Community is  already forming a negative alliance against Michel Martelly for his not so secret machinations to avoid elections, as he says one thing, while meaning something else.

His insider team would like to run the clock out and Rule by Decree,  as Preval did in 1999.    On the other hand, Prime Minister Lamothe would like to see elections held and is working, against the tide, to make this happen.

President Michel Martelly effectively controls the Chamber of Deputies, at a cost of millions. If  the realities were known, most of the Deputies – without their immunity – would be in jail. .

It is time for President Martelly to Democratically dictate suggested actions to this democratically elected body, telling them to leave the Prime Minister alone and give Haiti, and its 9,000,000 citizens a small chance at basic survival.

THE REAL QUESTION THAT MUST BE ASKED, AND ANSWERED:

IS THE MOVE AGAINST PRIME MINISTER LAMOTHE ACTUALLY AN ASSAULT LAUNCHED BY MARTELLY HIMSELF?

IT IS REALLY THE TIME FOR PRESIDENT MARTELLY TO SHOW HIS TRUE COLORS.   I HOPE HE ENDORSES THE MESSAGE OF THIS PHOTOGRAPH – SHARES THE LOAD AND SURVIVES HIS TERM. THE MARTELLY/LAMOTHE GOVERNMENT IS THE BEST WE HAVE HAD SINCE 1986. WE DO NOT REQUIRE A RETURN TO CHAOS!!
