The annual national celebration in Gonaives was interrupted by paid agitators who chanted “Aba Lamothe”…. This prevented Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe from speaking.

These people had been paid by Queen Sophia Martelly in some misconceived concept that sees the Laurent Lamothe Government collapse.  The people who took the money, and chanted “Aba Lamothe”…. Have absolutely no political motivation. They simply took the $10.00 US in an attempt to feed their children.

They would shout  “Aba Aristide, Aba Duvalier, Aba Preval…or Aba Ambassador Sanderson” …. Not realizing that Sanderson has been replaced.  There are no spontaneous  manifestations in Haiti. They are all paid and the bankroll available is reflected in the number chanting or demonstrating.

Of course, this formula is sometimes flawed when no one wants to participate.  Aristide has spent a fortune, on recent demonstrations, with little success ..drawing a few hundred.

There must be a message here!

What King Michel Queen Sophia, and Prince Olivier fail to appreciate is the fact that Laurent Lamothe has provided the best government since the departure of Duvalier.

LAMOTHE IS THEIR GOVERNMENT!!!

LAMOTHE IS OUR GOVERNEMENT!!!

LET US GIVE LAMOTHE A CHANCE TO SUCCEED!!!

LET US GIVE HAITI A CHANCE TO SUCCEED!!!

We cannot change government as quickly as we change socks. There must be some continuity, otherwise we will never progress from our precarious situation.

Unfortunately, the Martelly family, and their close supporters, including the Mayard-Pauls, have a screwed up sense of reality. Some have allowed their egos to inflate beyond their limited reality.

The problems and theft of $5,000,000 US from the Interior Ministry is part of this game. Interior Minister St. Cyr was placed in the cabinet by Thierry Mayard-Paul and Queen Sophia. Lamothe is blamed for bad Cabinet behavior when he did not pick St. Cyr for the position.

St. Cyr must go, and Lamothe should be allowed to pick his replacement. After all, that is what the Constitution says.

Our elected Senators and Deputies have no patriotism and are governed by their pocketbooks.

Unfortunately, the Haitian people have no grassroots power. Otherwise, they would march on their elected representatives’ homes an demand a social conscience, and patriotic actions.  Those who fail would then face “Democracy of the Streets”…

Someone has to do something to save Haiti from the imminent disaster, facing the Nation, with a suicidal press for a non-confidence vote when Parliament returns on January 14, 2013.

Perhaps there is a God.  A lightning bolt might get someone’s attention
