Sound trucks are driving through the streets, with the same messages.
Terrorists are distributing tires for tomorrow morning. They will be set on fire to block major routes.
There is a rumor that an attempt will be made on Fritz William Michel’s life, to block the move to install a new Prime Minister and government.
Tomorrow will be a true test of the new PNH Director General Rameau’s capabilities. He should place a cordon of CIMO officers around the entire Senate location, blocking access. Each Senator should be supplied with a heavy CIMO escort to guarantee safe travel to the Senate meeting. CIMO officers – probably unarmed – should be inside of the Senate, to prevent any violence.

Haiti is in this situation because of the International Communities failure to keep many promises that were the underlying basis for Aristide’s 1994 return.
Our Forces Armees d’Haiti were to be the countervailing force to prevent Aristide’s predicted grab for dictatorial power.
Look what happened!
The PNH was supposed to be a new, balanced force, trained by the americans and Canadians. Instead, Aristide fired all of the officers, trained by the Americans and Canadians, selecting his own personal force.
And the Americans stood there silent.
