PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti — The office of Haiti’s President Michel Martelly says the leader has completed surgery on his right shoulder in Miami.

The presidential office’s announcement early Friday morning said the arthoscopic surgery went well and that Martelly will spend a few days recovering in the Florida city.

Martelly left Haiti Wednesday for the operation but his office didn’t give details on the problem.

Doctors operated on the 51-year-old Martelly’s left shoulder in November to relieve pain that he said had bothered him from his previous career as a musician.

Martelly is due to return to Haiti on Thursday to host a visit by Mexican President Felipe Calderon.

This is really stupid and not constructive.

Everyone on the site knows who these jerks are and they must have a real mental problem to repeat things they know are not true.

Martelly has enough weak spots to attack. Why would someone tell a lie that is obviously a lie.

But that is a basic flaw in our society.
