According to the Private Sector Economic Forum, to create enough wealth and jobs in the country, 20 to 25% of middle-class people must be entrepreneurs, pointing out that currently this rate is only 8%

In order to contribute to the full development of children in Haiti, the First Lady Martine Moïse, proceeded on December 22, 23 and 24, 2107 to distributions of toys to the Champ de Mars. This initiative is part of the Head of State’s vision of combating social exclusion and discrimination in all its forms, with a view to providing better living conditions for the most vulnerable groups.
Les Cayes : New substitute Government Commissioner
Yvon Auguste Pierre is installed as new substitute Government Commissioner to the prosecution of the Court of Appeal of Les Cayes. The installation ceremony took place in the presence of Paul Jummy Jacques, the president of the Les Cayes Bar Association, Pierre Ezekiel Vaval, the Dean of the Court of First Instance (TPI) of Les Cayes and representatives of civil society.

Following the ban on leaving the territory of former Prime Minister Jean-Max Bellerive his spokesman said “the former Head of the Government Preval has always been and remains available to the justice of his country in case of further investigation,” saying that the ban on departure issued by the judge Jean Wilner Morin is “apparently without a clear reason.”
