DOMINICANS SEND DELEGATION TO MEET WITH GOVERNMENT OF HAITI – HAITIANS REFUSE TO RECEIVE THEM

The criminal fiasco aimed at deporting some 300,000 Haitians is starting to backfire on the Dominican Republic, but, no matter what, there will be no really satisfactory solution.

A delegation flew from Santo Domingo to Port-au-Prince today, hoping to meet with members of the Haitian government. The doors were closed. No one wants to talk wih them.

International pressure is accelerating.

Martelly has his balls in a vice.

He should have let International Community handle this. It is too big for Haiti.

We need allies.

Perhaps the Dominicans will ask him to refund the bribes.

Even if the SOCIAL CLEANSING is stopped, what follows will only make more unbearable for people of Haitian heritage – even if this dates back to 1930!

The Dominicans may be forced to stop their crime but those who remain in the Dominican Republic will experience an  accelerating level of bias and abuse. It has been bad, up until now. It will become worse.

We will see assaults.

We will see lynching’s.

We will see the Dominican bureaucracy move at an even slower pace, than before, to legalese rightful claims of the dispossessed.

Although Haiti is the Dominican Republic’s largest market, Dominican prejudice remains at an unbelievable, government sponsored level.

We are not optimistic.

And, while the crap was hitting the fan, and thousands crowded the border crossings, Martelly sang in New York.  Sort of like “Nero fiddling while Rome burned.”

The only fiddling Martelly and Sophia understand is financial.

    1. KIKO- Welcome to Haitian-Truth, as you are one of the few rare people from the Dominican Republic that has taken the time to comment. Thank you for speaking up from the National District. Do you work in government as well?
      While your comment is predictable, and exactly what one would expect from such a hostile people towards Haitians, and Haiti, it is sadly mis-informed and naivete will never get you anywhere.

      We notice that your e-mail IP and address is based in the Dominican Republic.
      Facts are facts.
      There is a great deal of negative feeling, on both sides of the border.
      Haiti is in the unfortunate situation of having Martelly solely responsible for negotiating deals with foreign governements.
      Martelly got us into this mess, by insisting the he alone deal with the DR, refusing the help of many interested nations.
      A delegation traveled from the Dominican Republic and it was not officially received.
      Might have been rude on the part of the Haitians involved, but it happened.

      And, the fact that the Dominican Republic has back-dated things to 1929, then made it impossible for anyone to complete the required paperwork, is also a fact.

      With the stroke of a pen, 300,000 people were denied their international human rights.

      I suppose you deny this too?
