Haiti-Cuba Cooperation
Tuesday, Me Aviol Fleurant, the Minister of Planning and External Cooperation, received at the Ministry, the Cuban Ambassador Luis Castillo Campo to exchange views on cooperation between the two Nations.

The PHTK requires the publication of the electoral timetable
Tuesday the Bourdon road was blocked PHTK protesters that require the publication of the electoral timetable for the holding of the second round of presidential elections, parliamentary by and local. The demonstrators, under heavy police escort then went front the premises of CEP in Petion-ville.

Verification Commission proposal of the youth
The Observatory of Haitian Youth (OJH) suggested that the choice of sectors composing the future electoral Verification Commission, has no members in the current CEP and did not have delegates and members of the previous Evaluation Commission.

In this sense, OJH proposes the following formula :

1 member of the Popular sector (under the leadership of the Popular Sector Expanded);
1 member of the Disability sector (under the leadership of the Haitian Society for Aid to the Blind / SHAA);
1 member of the Bar Federation (under the leadership of the Federation of Bar Associations of Port-au-Prince);
1 member of the youth sector (under the leadership of the Observatory of Haitian Youth);
1 member of the Diaspora sector (under the leadership of the Collective December 4).

5 members will be assisted by national and international observers who participated in the Electoral Observation of October 25, on the one hand and by representatives of the 5 candidates arrive in first position based on the results of presidential elections of previous CEP, on the other hand.
