This short video would be a wonderful item for CNN, or some other network, to feature. It is one of the best, if not the best, analysis of Haiti’s present situation, how we got here, and what solutions are available.
A group of American ONG members that have long assisted the Pestel community and its hospital, videotaped a free-ranging interview with Guy Philippe in which he outlines his background, actions, the history of Haiti, present problems, and possible solutions.
The complete video was released after his arrest.
When one watches this short, powerful, emotional presentation one can understand the danger Guy presents to the status quo of the American embassy, State Department, Haiti and the outside world.
He is a true, selfless Patriot, a nearly extinct species.
Whatever Guy has acquired, he has given it back to his community around his birthplace – Pestel.
Guy Philippe, and his very small Band of Brothers, removed the Aristide threat from our community, only to see the Americans return the anti-American, murdering, cocaine trafficking ex-priest to Haiti, with Aristide’s promise he would remain clear of politics. The American State Department knew the promise was worthless or they are stupider than many believe.
Many see Aristide’s partners hands in his return: The Clintons.
If anyone should have been grabbed, and transported to the States, it is Aristide.
The Lamothe government moved to arrest Aristide but was warned off by Secretary of State, John Kerr. Kerry said “it was not the opportune time.” The possibility of extradition, has left Aristide as a very dangerous element and many see Guy’s present problems as a direct result of Aristide/Lavalas elements her, and in the DEA/State Department.
Danton Leger, the Commissioner of Government ha issue a statement of dismay, saying he had no dossiers on Guy Philippe. “Guy’s name was not on any of he lists…” And Danton Leger said his office was the one to process such an action, and he was not consulted.
In other words, grabbing Guy was an independent and illegal act on Privert’s part violating everything Haitian.
Guy Philippe is now stuck in American Federal detention without funds to retain a decent lawyer to defend against the onslaught of the best prosecutors available.
The fact that he is innocent may have little effect on the system.
TIME FOR HAITIANS TO STEP FORWAD AND HELP GUY PHILIPPE.
