Venezuela: DEA arrest was “kidnapping” says Haiti Spokesman- Added COMMENTARY By Haitian-Truth

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (sentinel.ht) – An unnamed spokesman for the Haitian government described the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency’s arrest of two close family members of Venezuelan President, Nicolas Maduro, as a “kidnapping”, according to the newspaper, Ultimas Noticias.

Efrain Antonio Campo Flores, 29, and Francisco Flores de Freitas, 30, were raised by Venezuelan First Lady Cilia Flores and were arrested on Novemeber 11, 2015 in Port-au-Prince. They are accused of attempting to ship 800 kilograms of cocaine to the United States. A federal indictment has already come down.

The plane that was to be used to bring the drugs into the United States was to be flown by two active military officials of President Maduro’s secret service arm, Guardia de Honor Presidencial, according to reports.

Meanwhile in Haiti, local law enforcement said that it had not played a role in the sting or arrests. President Michel Martelly’s administration has not commented on the matter publicly.

Only an “unnamed spokesman for the Haitian government” has said that six men had been arrested and four were allowed to fly the plane back to Venezuela, arriving in Caracas, Wednesday at 12:30pm. The spokesman said that the two indicted drug traffickers had diplomatic passports in their possession and that the arrests were a “kidnapping”.

The day after the arrest, the DEA found 80 kilograms of cocaine in the Dominican Republic home of Francisco Flores de Freites, the First Lady’s nephew. Ten kilos of heroin was found in the Bahamas registered yacht called “The Kingdom”.

The Kingdom is 135-foot long 30-foot wide yacht with the flag of Island Nassau (Bahamas) and is anchored in Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic.

The ARROGANCE OF POWER can be truly stunning when you view the naive stupidity of this pair, believing that they could advertise for assistance, in moving 800 kilos of cocaine, into the States, and be protected with Diplomatic Passports!
