Senator Desras has made a visit to Ottawa and Washington in an effort to undermine the Martelly/Lamothe government in the misguided belief that the International Community will give him the power. Upon his return to Haiti he immediately initiated a series of meetings with political groups, the Civil Society and international representatives in Haiti

If on wishes to simplify things, you can have the Martelly/Lamothe stability, with new roads, construction,  sidewalks, and a real effort to fix an education system. That was effectively destroyed by Lavalas…… Or the Senate Chaos, generated by Senate President Desras, and his associates, backed by the Circus Chambre of Deputies who demand massive bribes to do their duty.

Unfortunately, Laurent Lamothe’s effort to run an honest government has upset a small minority that also aims at destabilizing the government. Rumors see Boulos, Apaid,Belizaire and Senator Bien Aime funding effort to initiate a student revolt.

Let us avoid disaster.

Remember the old Creole proverb: “Bad is better than worse….”

Senator Desras definitely presents the worst side of the equation.

Let’s stick with the Martelly/Lamothe team and hope someone muzzles the Mayard-Pauls, Queen Sophia and Prince Olivier. Without their input, thing would be very good.

With Senator Desras the resulting chaos will see his old/present ally Aristide ready to take over whatever is left.
