Saturday, returning the same day from his European tour, President Jovenel Moïse, accompanied by several parliamentarians, including the deputy Gary Bodeau (Delmas) and deputy Fritz Chéry (Gros Morne) handed 9 trucks and 3 excavators to the officials of the National Equipment Center (CNE) to accelerate the construction of the road Kafou Jòf – Anse-à-Foleur, whose 2 km of road on the 5 km planned for the end of the year have already been paved

These equipments that reinforce those already engaged in the construction of this road will also be used to achieve other planned infrastructure in the North.

When handing over this equipment, the Head of State explained the need for the Haitian State to obtain additional equipment with a view to building this road as quickly as possible. He also said that interventions will be made on the many rivers of the department of Artibonite, especially the La Quinte River, which represents a constant threat of flooding for the population of the Cité de l’Indépendance.

Moreover Moïse announced the construction of 8 airport terminals in several departments of the country to facilitate the movement of citizens, while confirming the inauguration, on December 22, of the main road of Camp-Perrin, built in reinforced concrete by the CNE.
