We have just witnessed the bizarre circus as our Parliament wasted 8 hours debating a completely ridiculous attempt to judge President Jovenel Moise for Treason, all in their ongoing efforts to avoid installation of a working government.
I mean, come one guys!
How about some introspection and judge a few Senators and Deputies for minor violations such as Murder, Kidnapping, Drug-Dealing, Bribery, and Theft of a few hundred millions from PetroCaribe.
Of course we should not overlook the tens of millions, perhaps hundreds of millions, siphoned off by Senators and Deputies from the various ministries.
Remember the 800 Zombi schools that were created by Senators/Deputies to siphon money from the school system – denying education to Haiti’s poor children!
Our children do not ask for much.
Some food, and a quality , effective educational system upon which to build their future … our future… the Nation’s future. This is not possible when the funds required are diverted to the purchase of Toyota Land Cruisers and mistresses upkeep.
Although, some Deputies/Senators simply steal the Land Cruiser, leaving more cash for the mistresses.
Time to re-write the flawed Preval amendments, returning power to the Presidency, where it belongs. The present Constitution effectively hamstrings the President, allowing Parliament and ego-oriented Prime Ministers – such as Jean Henry Ceant, to attempt a coup against the democratically elected President, Jovenel Moise.
There are enough real crimes against our Nation – TREASON IF YOU WANT TO STRETCH A TERM – for the Parliament to pursue, except that such a pursuit would effectively be like the Senate/Parliament pouring gasoline over themselves and lighting a match.
It is time for President Jovenel Moise draw “The line in the sand”
Enough is enough, and then some!
President Jovenel Moise should/could derail this Parliamentary Stupidity, in a way the International Community would applaud.
Address the Nation, with an emotional, well-balanced, dynamic speech, outlining the problems he faces, created by our destructive opposition elements. These elements have no constructive purpose, their only goal is destruction of Democratically based government, allowing creating of a NARCO STATE.
PRESIDENT MOISE CAN MOVE FORWARD, UNDER ARTICLE 136 – EFFECTIVELY NEUTRALIZING PARLIAMENT UNTIL JANUARY WHEN THE CONSTITUTION CAN BE RE-WRITTEN AND FRESH ELECTIONS HELD. THE CEP MUST BE RECONSTITUTED UNDER ANOTHER CHIEF. LEOPOLD BERLANGER IS NOT THE MAN TO TRUST WITH OUR FUTURE!
