The 2nd Annual Help Haiti Home Gala took place Saturday, raising $4 million for Malibu local Sean Penn’s J/P Haitian Relief Organization. Many familiar film industry faces came to support the cause, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Julia Roberts and Mel Gibson, among others.

“When he [Penn] gets involved with something, he gets involved in a visceral way, in an actual way, in a way that is admirable,” said Penn’s “Mystic River” co-star Tim Robbins at the event. “He gets his hands dirty. That’s a model I think we should all follow.”
