TURMOIL!

Last week, Martelly attempts to campaign, for his party, in Haiti’s north and northeast.

At each location crowds shout “ABA Martelly” and throw rocks. Martelly tosses soccer balls, into crowd, as he has done on many occasions over the past year. Now the crowds throw them back.

Martelly is not welcome.

His charisma has washed away as the people recognize his PWOMIS SE DET  is nothing but a  series of lies. Their children are hungry.

The cost of living has skyrocketed. Haiti has no security. The Dominican Republic will deport 300,000 people because Martelly has sold out.

The crowd questions his use of State vehicles to campaign.

He retreats to Port-au-Prince.

The anti-corruption office has discovered a $40,000,000 shortage in APN – the Nation’s port authority. This scandal is just the most recent to explode upon Martelly, and his band of criminals.

Seems as though the American government has demanded his entire cabinet’s resignation. Martelly might be able to keep one minister.

Good possibility that CEP President Opont will resign this evening.

A battle in the palace involving Kiko St. Remy, Gregory Mayard-Paul and Valerie Milfort over funding for the Bouclier Party, created by Martelly.

Martelly’s handling of the entire electoral process has been a criminal disaster in which he, and his partner Rene Preval, hope to capture power – yet again.

So far as Martelly is concerned, there will be no democratic transition, only a complex prolongation of his power via surrogates.

Time to stop and smell the roses.

Time to stop the clock, delay the elections, create a new CEP, a new Electoral Law, and do things properly.
