  1. Last month I couldn’t spell Presadint and now I are one….

  2. The real question is, why send a letter in French to the Haitian Parliament when it is only a minority language spoken by a minority in Haiti albeit a very powerful one. Krèyol is much simpler to spell than French and is the REAL language of Haiti, not French. When will Krèyol get the real respect it deserves? Why insist on using French in the Haitian Parliament? Of course, we all know the real reason but I hope things will change eventually.

  3. I am all for Kreyol as being the only official language of Ayiti. Unofficially, French is acceptable. If they insist on French being the dominant language for all forms of communication then I would urge our concern citizens to make a strong case for including English, Spanish, Swahili and Mandarin (Chinese language) in that array of foreign languages that we so intimately care to write, speak and instruct in. If those in public offices find the Kreyol language to be the enemy of public discourse then let us make our first foray together into globalism with the onslaught on “official” foreign languages.

  5. I can tell you I hate the french language. The french language like the french is an oppressor to the Haitian people. French, the language of colinization. Kreyol, the language of liberation. It is time the people of Haiti write another declaration of independance. Declaring independance of this stupid language that overwork the human jaw muscles. French has done nothing but hurt Haiti. Secoundly, Haitian grow up! We are wasting time talking, correcting, and making fun of the nation comander and chief. How productive? Let us not forget our beloved icon Jean-jacques Dessaline was not educated nor the best french speaker. We are all decendents of illiterate peasants and slaves. So cut the crap and lets do something productive. If they understand what the president mean then shut up and move forward. Haitian make fun of peoples’ bad french accents meaning the french is correct but the accent is off. Its really time to cut the crap. In the U.S. Alot of people would be without jobs because mostly everyone have an accent; rather foreign of southern or western and so on. Haitians we got to be mature for the good of Haiti. Aristide was a scholar that delivered nothing. Oh yeah… the people of Haiti rejected the intellectual Mirland Manigat. People lets leave the Gossip and making big deals out of things to the Media because thats their job. We non media profesionals lets used our talents to build our home. God bless Haiti and thanks for the latest Haitian truth keep up the good work.

    1. In reply to Jean Jean. Aristide the scholar did deliver something in Haiti- TONS of COCAINE.
