Martelly admits he could use some good advisers, but apologizes for not meeting with potential helpers:  He is too busy, at the moment, and will get around to them – later.

There may be to “later.” The way things are going now, Martelly’s government may beat Manigat’s record for short life.

And while the country collapses, Martelly talks with 5 or six people always sitting around the room. No one will come to speak about confidential matters with a half dozen people listening.

The way things are going now, many who could have helped will avoid the honor. With Preval/Aristide making big moves, Martelly will find himself isolated.

He could have won the battle, when the Senate presented him with a fraudulent Constitutional amendment. At the moment he should have closed them down and moved forward.

Martelly has had a few of these pivotal moments, only to waste them.

Suggestions that he is dependent – again – on cocaine, is not encouraging.

He has wasted a couple of months, while Aristide has wasted nothing. He has made promises and delivered nothing. Aristide has remained silent and will deliver his school this September.

The peoples’ loyalty is fragile and Martelly could go from 80% popularity to ZERO overnight, if he does nothing to stop his slide into the abyss….dragging the Nation with him.
